Balgin, can I ask Squall to check the body at the base of the cliff for anything brightly coloured and shiny, and to bring such a thing back?

I mean, would Kiaphas know if that was a practical thing to do, or is Squall too limited in attention span or ability to carry out such a request?

Yes you can. It's nice to see druidy powers come into play (and I'm always willing to reward creative play). I'll factor it into the next update (but remember that you might need to cast speak with animals to do so). If you do need to then I'll let you change your spell selection (since you haven't used any yet) and sending Squall to scout out the corpse will be quicker than any of you lot walking there :).

I had to work out what Mike's post referred to but it wasn't difficult. I'll post about it in a bit. I'm also waiting for Mr Teuful to post (I can't remember if it's Kiaphas or ALarian who's got the pearl but I think it's Kiaphas).

I went back and read the original scene with the selkie, and she gave it to Alarian or Aurum. Whether one of those then gave it to me, I don't recall.

Okay, in that case Alarian probably has it (but he probably realises that Kiaphas knows more about how to use it, plus he's a servant of the sea lord so it might be the honourable thing to do to let him use it :)).
