It can be a killer without enough light. That is part of why I made the forum dark.

I've never seen it myself. All I ever get is this big red X on a little white square.

I just added it today. I figured it fit in with the Aurum being a dragon shaman. Balgin it is some moving dragons.

Ah, one of the best Laurana pictures ever (not as good as the Dragonlance Calendar 1988 february/march/april picture 'though - that's the one with her, Tass & Flint reading the randsom note, remove the necklace, seriously shorten her giraffe neck, and it's a really nice picture).

Of course, she'd be even better with a fringe but that's another story :p. I've removed the necklace but I'm not even going to bother trying to change that neck because it'd break all the other proportions (the necklace hides the giraffe neck but removing it really makes you notice). Chin's a bit massively pointy too :(.

Yeah, that's a small quick paint job, the full version's better (nervously holding the ribbon in her hands).

You are right about the pic Balgin.

At least Aurums jump got him there first. He is quick to react and the fastest way down was the one he took. He has a lot of confidence in how strong he is and knew he would be ok. We already established he is a heroic little bugger.

Did you see this post?

Hi guys,

Unfortunately I can't remember what they are...
From the price I'd narrow it down to either Potion of Cure Light Wounds or Oil of Magic Weapon, but since Magic Weapon is on my spell list and not exactly a common thing for me to use, I think it was the healing potion and I just confused light and minor wounds.  D8+1 stabilising hitpoints, coming her way!

Also Balgin, how'd they take 34?  I thought falling damage was 1d6/10ft, which would give a maximum of 30 even if they fell at the first check.  :icon_scratch:

NB: I think the next step up is Cure Critical Wounds (in NWN anyway - according to the SRD, CCW is of too high a level to make into a potion, but that didn't stop the game designers...) but it's not in the SRD at all.  How about extrapolating the other Cure spells to make the following:

Cure Critical Wounds
Conjuration (Healing)
Level: Brd 4, Clr 4, Drd 5, Healing 4, Pal 5, Rgr 5
Components: V, S

Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: Creature touched
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will half (harmless); see text
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless); see text
When laying your hand upon a living creature, you channel positive energy that cures 4d8 points of damage +1 point per caster level (maximum +20).

Since undead are powered by negative energy, this spell deals damage to them instead of curing their wounds. An undead creature can apply spell resistance, and can attempt a Will save to take half damage.

Cure Critical Wounds, Mass
Conjuration (Healing)
Level: Clr 8, Drd 9
Components: V, S

Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target: One creature/level, no two of which can be more than 30 ft. apart
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will half (harmless) or Will half; see text
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless) or Yes; see text
You channel positive energy to cure 4d8 points of damage +1 point per caster level (maximum +40) in each selected creature.

Like other cure spells, mass cure light wounds deals damage to undead in its area rather than curing them. Each affected undead may attempt a Will save for half damage.

That would seem to follow the pattern already laid down in the Light -> Moderate -> Serious progression.

Sorry yeah, that kind of got lost with the whole Cure Critical Wounds suggestion.

They're potions of Cure Light Wounds, which means they restore 1d8+1 damage (+1 since caster level one is the lowest at which you can cast CLW).  As I understand it, recovering hit points automatically stabilises you, so she should be on the road to recovery as soon as Aurum gets it down her.  She wouldn't become conscious until back into positive HP however, which is why Rogan's heading down too  :icon_mrgreen:

Yep but you need to be level 3 to make potions in the first place so it's at least +3 (and I'll set them at +3 for now). Admitedly a 3rd level guy can sort of make them with a lower caster level (costs less xp) so how about we set all three of them to be cast as 2nd level, right?
