Erm, not walks into the water. There's a narrow and treacherous path leading down to a ledge at the bottom of the cliff. It's a straight drop into the water rather than a gradual walk. SO sort of a plunge or plummet into unknown depths.

Okay. Now just a quick word guys, I laughed so much working out the numbers behind the recent update (aincluding mental images of the water elemental trying to pick Aurum up and bash his head against the cliffs or throw him out of the water onto the shores) that I'm not quite ready to update my other games just yet.

I know I've been slacking a bit during the last few days but I was distracted by shiny new toys to play with and so my posting rate dropped a bit :).

I also realised why the Grimorden's got too many G points. He hasn't been paying to activate his life sensing abilities so I paid for them too and it all makes sense now :).

Now who was into codes again? The scrud* of paper's a clue (or the solution) and the metal plate with the three dials is the combination lock/puzzle. The solution is a 3 digit number lower than 400.

Found it. There's a second piece of paper. Now it's all clear.

The number is

Legs on a man
Sides on a triangle
Sides on a pantangle

So that's 235 then :).

When I put the two pieces together there were 26 symbols so, keeping it simple, I tried it with the first piece first and if that idn't work then the second piece would be the first one. Before finding the second piece I even tried translating the symbols into a base 4 counting system with thew arrows indicating which way to turn the dial the remainder after dividing by 4 (it didn't work out very well).
