Yep. What a way to loose a character 'though. He had a big heart (and everyone loved his strong welsh accent).

If I'm unbelieveably lucky, I'll stabilise or recieve very effective first aid within 4 rounds (with two very hostile monsters standing over me and only one character close enough to help out, he's dropped his sword to throw the powder keg so he won't be much use to save me). If I'm really lucky he's the guy carrying our one or two remaining healing potions (I know he gave half of them to the squire).

So, if I'm unbelieveably lucky he won't blow up all my gunpowder, I'll survive and therefore have bullets and powder to keep me going 'till I can create some more (law of averages says that'll be around 5th level).

It's an obscenely challenging encounter (we've had two or three party members in the minus's already).

Edit: Removed the double post :icon_wink:

Well, he's got the first aid kit and the potion.

So he threw the bomb at the evil wizard, and missed.

So now, in theory, he's got three rounds to save me from the two giaks standing over my comatose form . Probably not going to happen .

But, the good news is this: he thre the bomb and missed, so it scatters by it's range incriment.

The blats radius is the same as the range incriment.

So the wizard's still taking 1d6+1d3 damage as opposed to the 3d6 damage he would've taken (and the same goes for a lot of his bodyguards caught in the blast too).

Edit: Removed the double tripple :icon_eek: post :icon_wink:

Reminder sent. I hope it was friendly enough.

Well I hope your character makes it.

I also hope we see both Rod and Mr teuful. The game already looks like it is going to be fun, we have a diverse group of characters.

Sounds like fun, Balgin- what sort of game is it, where you're playing with gunpowder?

(Oh, and can Ivor get in on some of that action? Though Raul's probably got enough to worry about without Ivor blowing himself up every 5 minutes... ;)  )

The dwarfs of Bor are the only people in Magnamund known to have the power of gunpowder (and they don't let anyone else have it because they know how destructive it is).

If you don't know Magnamund yet then you really should get to know it. It's the world all the Lone Wolf adventures are set in and it's a really lovely setting (it always feels "really real" with diverse cultures and scenery).

Oh well, I failed the first stabilisation roll (but at least the monsters left me alone for long enough to make it :)).

Yay, Mr Teufel got here!!

Although, I have to say that I thought Balgin said no to Centaurs :D

He wears dark seagreen robes, weathered and sunbleached, and as wild as his black mane.

Now he's here, you'll probably be all please to know that I am away this weekend, and after the end of the working day today (UK time), I'll not be online again until Monday.  Sorry guys :(

But I am going to the UK Games Expo in Edgebaston, if that makes it any better? :)

Geez, sorry guys.  :icon_sad: I usually check up by email notification, so I didn't see a new thread had been started! I'm kicking myself for missing out!  :sorry2:

Hey, no worries- just pleased that nothing untoward has become of you since coming up with Kiaphas. With any luck Balgin will be along shortly and get your crazy hippy on board :D

"He grins hugely each time thunder rumbles....wild as his black mane."

Is this Kiaphas for real?  :icon_wink:

The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

Wow! My dwarf stabilised the next round (at -7).

I won't need to assume control of his character. The boat trip's a good 2-3 days each way so there can be lots of socialising with the sailors and weather and stuff while we wait for himm to return :).
