Sorry, guys, I'll be a bit scarce for the next fortnight or so- I've got a final exam coming up which I need to pass (or that's 4 years of uni down the pan with nowt to show for it) so in order to ensure I actually do something constructive, I'll be removing my wireless card for most of the day. I'm sure you all have a decent idea of how Ivor will respond in most situations, so just carry on!

Okay mate, well we'll be here waiting when you get back (but don't get back before you should :p).

Does alex have a potion we can assume he would use on him if no one signs on and heals the abbot?

I'll assume Rogan does something because Rod's slightly absent at the moment, right? However I was delaying because I had to look up the rule on magicaly healing subdual damage (I know how it's done naturaly).

So is that enough or will we need to ask the sage to help out a little (is it safe to assume he can help with that?)?

Um, I'm not sure I do have healing potions as such; Ivor didn't really plan on getting hurt!

IIRC, subdual damage heals at the same time as normal damage ie a CLW that cures 6pts of normal damage also cures 6pts of subdual, though I'd have to check.

Just taking a 5 min revision break to check you haven't killed the gnome yet; don't panic!

I stopped at that spell because that way he's still got a healing spell left before he has to start spont'ing (and I wouldn't want to spont in a player's absence).

Good idea. The Abbot can wait and we can finish the search while he is 'resting'

Good call CH.  But he would need to stay here, which would mean we'd need to split up to search the other buildings and leave one or two people with the Abbot.

We could always pick one of two people (I vote for whomever isn't online) and the rest can do a quick search downstairs.

Just an FYI for those who don't already know:

Balgin is usually busy with a gaming group on Mondays from 4pm until midnight (UK time). So we would usually see an early update in the morning and MAYBE an update when he gets back if he isn't too tired. I just didn't want anyone wondering about the next update.

So is it safe to assume while the basement is being searched the others are going over everything in the room with abbot until he wakes up?

If you want but there's really not a lot in there to look at :p.

That is to say that you haven't missed anything important up there but I could describe the room again or something if you really want (and I can make up details if people want to look over the bookcase or something but it'll be mostly theological works).
