Nah go for it, although once this is out of the way and everyone settles down for the night we can progress to chapter one aboard the Grey Gull itself (and I can see that one getting really strung out over a very long period of time when it doesn't need to be :)).

Can I be a bit funny now, and ask if you could put changes to the adventure either in a separate thread or in spoiler sections, or tell us at the end? Otherwise it seems a bit less... I dunno... fluid I suppose.

If the majority of people don't mind then it's fine, but I find it really jarring.  :twocents:

Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

I didn't mind this one, because Balgin mentioned the change after that point in the adventure had passed, which is the most important point.  But I can see that they might be better in their own thread.

I tend to agree. I'd rather not see the strings or the hands behind the curtain.

...and it's 2am+ and I'm off to bed. G'night!

I was going to create a dedicated changes thread. I just haven't got round to it yet. The reason I'm writing them down now is so that I don't forget them (but also in case anyone's interested to know how my particular creative taste has affected the game so far :p).

Should have thought about this earlier, but, are we taking our mounts aboard, then?  'Cause I can't see no space on that vessel.

I'm thinking I'd better get me a trunk.  Can I do that, Balgin?

I seriously doubt it because....

I'm happy to assume people have suitable stuff to carry their belongings in (but they'll be back on the mainland within a week, a day or two longer at the most).

I'd better be good then, and ask you to deduct stabling fees from my available gold :)

Did I ever make it clear that I'd been planning on being a specialist conjurer (Prohibited schools necromancy and enchantment)?

If it's too much trouble to change, then never mind. Otherwise, here's the prepared spells:

Spells/day: 4/4+1/3+1

0-level: Read magic, Detect magic x2, Light, Acid Splash

1st-level: Mage Armour, Colour spray, Shocking grasp, True Strike (+ Lesser orb of fire)

2nd Level: Scorching ray, Mirror image, Spiderclimb (+ Melf's Acid arrow)

The telling off of the dwarves reminded me that I've never picked the bonus languages for Ivor yet. He gets Tradespeak and Gnomish standard then his 4 bonus ones would be  Draconic (language of magic, right?) Elvish, Sardian, and Drechanese, (or whatever the local languages would be.)

I read somewhere that a horse takes up the same space as four people so I doubt we would be able to take mounts.

Balgin did you get to my rather long PM about finishing Aurum's character sheet?
