Well next ... I'll post an update sometime early tomorrow (it's nearly 3 in the morning you know :p).

The reason the last update took so long is that I spent ages (a few days) trying to work out which way the cat would go. I still haven't worked it out but I've got a preference. You see, I spent ages going "should it run up into the scholar's room where it used to feel quiet and safe or is it aware enough of the people up there to go the other way?"

I'll pop in an update sometime this afternoon or evening.

I agree with Alex on that one. There were too many people in that area. So does they Key work in the chest?

I thought it would run away from the people and even down the stairs (and I thought of a specific location for it to hide in too).

Yes but not quite yet. People will have noticed that the updates have been a bit slow recently. Well, there have been a lot of floods in this country in the last month or two (two huge floods in the same place within two weeks). Unfortunately I have a lot of friends in that area (it's where I was as a student) so I'm trying to get hold of people to see if they're okay. I haven't spoken to a soul yet, just left some answerphone messages :(.

I hope they are all ok. I am sure they are either busy with the clean up or just somewhere else until all the water recedes

It is rather time consuming just getting in touch with people, worrying about them and helping out those that need help.  Been there myself within the last month!

Don't worry about it for me, Balgin, I quite understand :)

Well I got in touch with a lovely old couple (well, middle aged pushing on towards old) who live high up on the hills outside Nailsworth. They were able to reassure me that a lot of the people I knew in Nailswprth weren't around when there was a flashflood through the streets of the village. So now the only lowland person I need to get in touch with lives (or lived) right in the middle of Gloucester (not the middle of Gloucester, bu the middle of Glouster itself) and he's got a bad leg (motorbike accident years back). He's ex RAF and he's also a local politician (I don't think he's an MP but he really helps out a lot with community relations work making sure people know their rights and stuff like that).

I haven't been able to get in touch with him yet so hopefuly he's busy helping others out because it'd be a right shame if something nasty happened to him.

Well, tomorrow I go off on my exam week, so from now to next Tuesday I won't be on much if at all, and after that I'll be in Austria.  If anything important happens, you guys can probably make a good stab at what Rogan would do.  Heal, don't get too close etc. 

Anyone know if Austrian beer is as good as German? :icon_beer:
