OOC: Just to clarify: THIS is what Will is attempting (found it in the rules):
"With a sap (blackjack) or an unarmed strike, a rogue can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual -4 penalty."

So obviously Will must use an unarmed attack (if you don't consider the pommel of a sword as a "sap"?)
His bonuses would be:
Base attack bonus:+2
Sneak attack:+2d6 "damage" bonus.

Any bonuses for height? (he's coming down the stairs)
Any bonuses for momentum? (He's charging -might not be possible to combine with "sneak attack" ?)
I don't know if that's all the info you need?
So Wills action would be to run from the doorI10 down to G6 and try to knock Gil out.

For the next round his immediate course of action will be to throw himself (roll?) out of reach for both Gil and Pym (he remembers the warnings about how dangerous she can be)

OOC: Isn't Pym still in he straight jacket?

For the love of magic! I thought it smelled bad before I jumped in? Now I know why curiosity killed the cat! He looks up from his latest contribution to the refuse "thanks for the 'I told you so,' he turns away and heaves the last of the contents of his stomach against the wall. "Is there anywhere to go out there?" as he points in the direction Lunk came from.

OOC: As far as I know she's still in her straitjacket. So? Never seen "Silence of the lambs?" A straightjacket aint no guarantee.
I know this headlong charge may seem to go against Wills "key of the coward" but remember that he is also very easily stressed and he just wants to shut that halfling up. Not really looking for a fight here.

OOC: If Will made a normal attack then he could take a -4 penalty to hit and deal the attack with the butt of the sword as non-lethal damage. He can use a sneak attack as Gibs is 'flat-footed' but like you say it would have to be unarmed. And yes, Pym is still in a straitjacket, but she is capable of walking/running (ie her legs are not restrained). Gaius' action of course may depend on whether or not you hit Gibs, and how much damage you do. You can ditch Key of the Coward if you like and get 7XP - up to you.

The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

Bodhi

So it would be best to opt for unarmed sneak attack anyway I guess - as I get a damage bonus by that. He'll go for unarmed sneak attack. A kick to the head would be fitting since it's a shorty he's attacking (even if he himself is rather short...)

OOC: That made me laugh! Kick to the head hehe. Anyway, Will loses Key of the Coward for not only leaping into combat unhesitatingly but actually initiating it! Take the key off his sheet and receive 7XP, Bodhi.

"Orthty!  This way!  Fresh air!!  We can get outta here!  Quick, let's get our friends, so we can go find the missing fellas!"  I saw tracks, certainly the missing guys aren't in the bad dark cramped stinky building.

OOC: I'll rule that you guys don't emerge from the tunnel until the 6th combat round, each round being roughly 6 seconds. I think that's a mite generous but we can be fluid with time here. You two would have spent perhaps a minute checking the tunnel as it's not very long.

OOC: %&&#"%/=)/= time zones!!! I'm off to bed - just as the heat of the battle starts. A tad bit early but it's been a busy two days at "summer camp" so I'm knackered. Well, I've given you Wills actions for the first two rounds. So we'll see how it goes...

Based on what happens, because of my inititive, if im not attacked
Gaius runs up to help Gibs and check if he is not injured Using healing skills if necessary, "Will that was totally unnecessary! He just needs help. "

If im attacked Gaius casts sanctuary on himself

Will runs to Gibs, growling at him to shut up, and socks him one across the jaw, nearly knocking out the halfling. A horrified Gaius goes up to Gibs to try to minister to him but has to restrain him due to his anxious state.

OOC:
Will gets 19 (+2) = 21  vs AC11 (Gibs is flat-footed) dealing 2d6 (10) + 1d3 (3) = 13 nonlethal damage

I'll treat Gaius' attempt to minister to Gibs as a grapple (Gibs is flailing around) - touch attack 13 (+2)=15 vs AC11. Gaius grabs Gibs. Opposed grapple check Gibs 9 Gaius 14. Gaius has a hold on Gibs. Normally you would then deal nonlethal damage but Gaius doesn't want to hurt Gibs.

Initiative is as before.

I'll now outline the intended actions for all the NPCs: Harl and Darco will flee as far as they can to the walls of the lower level. Pym will slough off her straitjacket (she escaped from it whilst no-one was looking; Escape Artist roll against DC 20; she succeeded with a result of 25) as a move-equivalent action, (which will provoke an Attack Of Opportunity from Will if he wants to take it) and then attack Will.

Will and Gaius - 24 hours starting from the time this post was modified to post your actions.  Ah ok you kind of have already, but you can change them if you wish! :abduct:

Gaius drags gibs towards the cells, hoping to place him out of harms way there. "Will look out!"

Will attempts to run as far as possible from Pym shouting "LUNK! DAAAANGER!!!"
He runs in the direction of the tent and sewers.

Lunk strolls back towards the grate (another fort roll?  or am I good?  Listen check for Will; do I hear him yell Danger?)

If Lunk hears Will, he books it back and scrambles up the grate.  If not, he badgers Olothoros isn't he irritated by Lunk calling him "Orthy" all the time?  I figured he'd be correcting him each time!! and mocks his queasiness, taking his time to slosh and stomp in the mire, trying to make Orthy barf even more
