Despite Lunk's amazing aptitude for quiet, Olothoros cannot see or hear anything unusual (well more unusual than the circumstances warrant). A larger building is in front of you now (OOC: 9 on the map) but the doorway must be on another side, as there is none in the north wall.
The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

"Lets walk around and find the door." Olothros looks in any wondows he finds along the way

Olthoros and Lunk make their way round the building, noting that (like all the buildings encountered so far) there are no windows. They find the doorway in the southern wall.

Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

Olothros gets close to the door and listens for any sounds or signs of life

OOC: I should stop saying doorway, more properly they're archways or openings.

Olothoros peers into the building, the interior of which is free from ice. Through the archway, you glimpse enormous metal cylinders standing in ranks, with an intricate webbing of pipes forming a complex spiderweb. Graceful metal catwalks stetch from wall to wall. A strange, harsh smell flls the building, and a rumbling so low as to be nearly inaudible reaches your ears from within.

Olothros steps in to get a better look around. What in the world is this? "Lunk lets watch out for anything or anyone."

OOC: Can I do a knowledge check to see if I know what that is? search and spot checks?

The exact principles of how all this machinery works are beyond even Olothoros' comprehension... but as he is possibly one of the most intelligent humanoids one could encounter, he theorises that it could be some sort of amazing heat system for the city. It is like nothing he has ever seen in scale and design. It is far in advance of anything current civilizations have created.

OOC: Search DC 15. 14+8=22.

Olothoros searches through the building, and hidden beneath a complex lattice of tubing and wires are a strange pair of body prints on the floor. They look like black slimy stains in the shape of large bulbous lizards or toads. They are about 10 feet long and 5 feet wide.

The building to the south of this one is immense, the walls composed of huge columns; both Lunk and Olothoros couldn't help but notice it.

Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

"I think this is some sort of heating device. By the size of what I see it looks like the creatures here are huge. It looks like you will get that good fight you wanted. Lets go take a look at that huge building we see over there."

As Olothoros and Lunk explore the city, Gaius is left watching over the now sleeping form of Will, who occasionally tosses and turns, muttering.

The doctor groggily comes round, "Got to-" he mutters before realising that he has been bound. He looks around and sees Gaius, and his face falls, "So I failed... I suppose I shouldn't have expected to outrun you, but I had to try. I don't expect you to understand." he says wearily.

Gasping Will wakes up when feeling the doctor move. First thing he sees is the doctor and still half dreaming he jumps at him and tries to grab his throat. The rope he's tied to the doctors ankle and his own wrist stops him though and he just vaguely fumbles in the doctors direction.
"Y...y...you! Slimy stuff! T...t...tentacles! Y...y...you'd better start f.. f...friggin explaining here or I...."
Will shakes his head looking confused, sees Gaius and sheepishly nods in his direction for once out of words.

Lunk scans the environs for anything moving.  "Erm, Orthy?  Ya with me?  Which way??"

"Do you want to check out the building or go back for the others? My light spell will go out soon and then I won't be able to see."
