Gaius mimicks Harls conversation style " taken some of the fellows.. you dont say, do you know whose been taken? Sounds a bit fishy if you dont mind me saying. "

Will puts two fingers up at Olothoros bossing him around. "Y-y-you do the locks since you're so clever. What the h-h-hell do I know about gratings?" he grumbles but accompanies Olothoros.

Harl inclines his neck and looks down his nose at Gaius, "Hmm, well, yes you seem like a fellow one can put ones imperial confidence in." he murmurs. He leans in again, "I don't know where they've disappeared to, but I do know that Asworth and that chap Shaver (nice lad, by the way) usually take them five at a time from here and that we see neither hide nor hair of them since. Rum do, I'll say."

Without anyone else being able to hear (you're all engaged in your own conversations and in Olothoros' and Will's case too far away), Pym looks up at Lunk and says shyly "Er... excuse me... I'm awful hungry, you don't happen to have somethin' to eat, would ya?"
The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

OOC: So what do Will and I see up there? Oh man we left Lunk alone :icon_eek:

OOC: Yes, but you're too busy being curious to notice  :icon_wink: don't worry, it'll be fun

Once at the cells on the upper level, you can see that each is padded with a heavy, quilted material, and that the floor of each has a small drain built into it. All that is except for the southernmost door which has no window.

The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

OOC: Are the cells locked (all of them)?

Olothoros and Will go along every cell, and find that each is locked. As is the doorway without a window.

Olothros asks Will to please open all of the locks on all five doors especially the one with no windows.

Will looks at Olothoros incredulously, "Oh s-s-s-sure, I'll just go pick them all just like that! Y-y-y-you can see into them, eagle-eyes! See, windows!" he flails his arms in a display of annoyance.

He agrees to pick the lock on the windowless door, however. OOC: Lock DC 20, OL result 23 "There ya go, m-m-m-milord." Will says sarcastically, and opens the door with a clumsy flourish.

It's a closet.

To be more precise, it seems to be a closet for storing blankets (such as the ones you used last night), extra resident uniforms, cleaning supplies and the like.

Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

"Thank you Will, no need for all the sarcasm" he says as he winks at him, "as soon as I can I will return the favor in a big way." Olothros looks around to see if he finds anything out of the ordinary. He also looks through the windows to see if he can see anything in the other rooms. After that he heads back to the rest of the group below to tell Gaius and Lunk about everything he has seen.

OOC: Does he see or find anything at all? On another topic did I ever ask you what the is under the number six on the map (I know I searched the room already). What time of day is it for them?

Much to Olothoros' disappointment he doesn't find or see anything unusual at all.

OOC: I will run your action of going back downstairs once we've had a little bit more dialogue with Gaius and Lunk (imagine it running at the same time as you do your searching etc). The coat-stand is in the square under '6'. Jonathan came into the kitchen and woke everyone up around 9am -ish, so if you imagine how long the whole confrontation would have taken with him, and the working up to go into the inmates' room... I suppose it's probably 9.40am maybe.

Wait a minute, where is the doctor? Ive been so absorbed here i havent noticed where he is.

Gaius looks around to see where the doctor is, he turns to the conversation
If he sees the doctor he continues
" a little strange Ill grant you that sir, do you know in what direction they take them? I could always ask our good doctor. Theres a chance there is more to this place than just this room. " \
If he cant see the doctor then he says
" Excuse me good harl, ill just check with our friend Dr Answorth about those poor fellows. Im sure i can prise the information out for us both! ha ha"  He then ensures that the good doctor hasnt slipped away to lock us in.

OOC: Oh, good post! I like the offering of alternative courses of action!

Gaius turns round and sees to his horror that while you've all been distracted in various ways, Dr Asworth has gone!

As Olothros gets back Gaius is looking around. Olothros sees that the Dr is gone. He whispers to Will "when we find him he is getting bound and gagged!" Olothros tells both Lunk and Gaius everything he has noticed. He also goes over to Harl who Gaius was speaking to and says "greetings Harl. I am Olothros, I was wondering if you can tell me about Dr. Ashworth's assistant Shaver?"

Olothros also takes a step back and in a very calm and friendly tone asks "Did any of you see where the 'good' doctor went?"

Harl looks most taken aback at Olothoros "A little more respect if you please, you may be a figment of one's imagination, but the least one can ask is some common courtesy!" He turns away and mutters to himself "The imperial doctor will need to be questioned over his prescriptions... tut tut... most peculiar dreams..."

The halfling, Gibs, pipes up cheerfully, "Hey you guys, could we get some breakfast here, d'ya think?".

The older man grumbles bitterly "Yeah, some scran would be good."

Pym again looks forlorn; she says quietly, "I'm real hungry right now too."

Therese looks blankly, unmoving.

Will runs up the stairs - sword drawn - to check the entrance door while the others are talking. Occasionally he glances back to keep track of the events down below.
