Prepare to enter Deathtrap Dungeon

"Good idea.  Do you need a hand - just in case someone needs to climb some walls?"

Advancing, Ellion peers around the corner. The walls of the passage ahead are vast mirrors, each one reflecting the other. The skeleton of a small creature is slumped against the right hand wall although some of it seems to be missing as if it has been pulled through to the other side.

Since I've been away all weekend I'll start things moving a little quicker now.

Cautious but curious, she takes a few steps into the hallway and as she does so a four armed creature emerges from the mirrors and rushes at her screaming with it's many mouths. Bizarrely, it's many limbs cast more and more reflections upon the mirrors as it attacks!

Battle thread incoming.

Round 1:

Hearing the moaning and the wailing of the approaching demon Sarian froze, an arrow drawn to the string of his bow. The creature grasped at Ellion and managed to get some two or three of it's four arms to fix her in their clawing grip. As it's head and arms rounded the corner darts of magical energy shot from Rhana's wand causing the fiend to shriek out in pain but it's grip did not lessen.

Dekion charged and sliced at it's shoulder, causing a savage cut to open across the shoulder muscles and yet it did not release the priestess.

Round 2

Ellion was dragged kicking and struggling round the corner and into the mirrors hall. As she struggled she became aware that the creature was not trying to harm her, but that it sought to drag her inexorably towards one of the mirrors as if seeking to drag her back through them into some horrid twisted demonic mirror world from which there would be no return!

Frustration and anger rising, Dekion rounded the corner and struck out with his sword at the vile creature's neck. It's head flew back without leaving it's body but before it could drop and hang the entire creature "shattered" and, with a shriek, collapsed into a pile of broken glass.

"There won't be much more here than mirrors, I sudjest we go the other way, and watch your feat!"

[Custom_Hobby]

"Lets break the damned mirrors!" Dekion slashes out at the one next to him. "Why don't we go back for that rope before we forget."

[Balgin Stondraeg]

The mirrors are surprisingly resilient to damage (being magicaly enchanted) but they smash to pieces sure enough showing bare stone walls where they had once been. The spelsl that hardened them might've been good but they weren't that good :).

"Ok, you've had your fun, now lets get the rope quickly and continue on, the sooner we get our prize money the better!"

[Bodhi]

Ellion staggers along.
"Can we get some rest? I won't stand this much longer" she moans.

"Do you want to just sit here so Sarian and I can run and go get the rope?"

[Bodhi]

Ellion sags down and nods her head weekly

"Rhana please watch over her here until we get back. If you need us shout or send Milano to come for us."

[Balgin Stondraeg]

Okay, so Dekion & Sarian head back for the rope. Fortunately the passageway is square/oblongish (but most importantly, it has corners), whilst the ball is spherical. Unfortunately it's on a corner. Now it's a very tight squeeze but Sarian might be able to make it through one of the gaps if he's lucky.

Dekion looks at the gap and back at Sarian. "Well my friend it looks like I can't fit. Do you want me to wait for you here or go back and stand guard with the girls?"

[Keeper]

As Ellion sits down to rest, Rhana stands guard over her, wand and staff at the ready, just in case.
