Prepare to enter Deathtrap Dungeon

Let's check that monster tunnel. It might have laid... eggs...  or something that had best be destroyed. And we wouldn't want any more to sneak up on us.

"Lets just hope I can keep making it look easy. Ok so lets go?" Dekion moves and down the tunnel a bit.

If it is dark can we take one of the lights from the main tunnels?

[Keeper]

Rhana moves up to follow Dekion into the tunnel.

Dekion presses forward cautiously and slowly searching for anything else in the tunnel.

As he treads warily down the tunnel Dekion pauses, his ear catching some familiar sound. Ellion has not heard it yet but the others have. They recognise it as the sound of another rock grubb coming their way at high speed. It's heard them and it's wondering why it's mate has not returned!

Round 1:

The beast surged down the tunnel, it's clamplike jaws sinking into Dekion's side. A dart like form of acid appeared in Rhana's hand and streaked through the air towards the beast catching it near the eyes. Sarian dashed forwards and sank his dagger deep into one eye. As Ellion looked on the creature seemed to fill the entire tunnel. In the confined space it seemed even larger than before but then Dekion's sword flashed twice in the darkness and the creature was no more.

It's getting very dark in the tunnel here guys, maybe you'd like to go back out to where it's better illuminated.

Dekion adjusts his armor and cleans his sword, while doing so he turns to Ellion and asks, "if that potion offer is still good I'd gladly take you up on it now." I wonder if they had a little lair with a treasure cache. "Ellion can you see in the dark? I would like to go down to the end of the tunnel and see if there is anything there."

If given the potion Dekion takes it immediately.

[Keeper]

"I can see in the Dark, and I am as yet unwounded.  Follow at my shoulder.  A good honest beast makes a change from all of these traps, follow me, Brave Warrior." she winks at Dekion and then proceeds down the monster's tunnel to see where it leads.

Ellion gives Dekion her potion of cure moderate wounds.

Balgin, I'll take your unsubtly hint :P

"Guys, I'm not so sure this is meant to be part of the dungeon, I'd say we go back to the main, man made dungeon, instead of following a possibly endless tunnel to no were, whilst we starve and die."

"Sit here and eat if you must. I will press forward to satisfy my curiosity even if I must blind. I trust my capabilities."

"Didn't we have this same discussion earlier, except reversed? The only way we are going to get through this dungeon is team work, and we should stick together yada yada yada..." I reply, throwing a quick grin

"You speak the truth Sarian. Then we turn back as a team. Would you like to rest and eat for a moment? It seems secure right here."

"Well, the intention is that the others all die, so it's not like we're pressed for time." I say, swinging my backpack to the floor and sitting against a wall.
