OOC: I knew that high Int was going to pay off.

After a bit of quiet contemplation Olothros remembers a bit more about the poison. "Gaius a delay poison spell will allow magical healing to function & a neutralize poison spell will allow both magical and natural healing to work. Can you cast either of those?"

[Fabian]

Gaius shakes his head in regret, "I'm sorry to say that Asacimov has not granted me the use of those powers this day, brother; an incantation to neutralize poison is beyond my abilities and I did not receive a spell to delay poison. Perhaps Will or Gaius has a potion or some such with either of these? I confess I do not. If not, then I shall prepare a delay poison spell, which will at least then allow me to heal you magically tomorrow, either with one of my holy scrolls or a spell."

[cheddarmonger]

"Davey Poshen?  Davey Poshen?  I got this...  does it help?"

Lunk hands over a bottle labled "Potion of Delay Poison" that happened to be in his sack.  He scribbled a skull with a smiley face on it to remember about the fellow Davey Poshen the merchant told him about when he sold him the bottle.

Gaius smiles and takes the potion from Lunk, "Thank you, brother!" he says, and hands the bottle to Olothoros, "There you are; a friend in need is a friend indeed. This should counteract the toxin, and I shall then call upon the blessings of Asacimov to knit your wounds and repair your epidermis."

OOC: OK, let's collapse time a bit; if you could tell me briefly what (if any) guard rotation you have and in Olothoros' case what spells you're preparing. I'm going to keep Gaius with the same spell selection. I'll then skip to any interesting events that happen.

Olothros lets a rare smile ease onto his face "Thank you. I should get some rest and I can take the last watch since I will be up studying my spells."

[Bodhi]

"I've s...s....slept. I'll take the first"

"Will & Gaius do either of you have scrolls I might be able to read?"

[Fabian]

"Hold still" says Gaius before laying his hand on the elf's wounded shoulder. As he focuses his energies into your injury, it begins to knit back together.

"Scrolls? Do you mean ones with arcane spells on? Well no, if I had I would have given them to you. They are useless to me. Asacimov and the light of science provide me with all the inspiration I need."

OOC:Cure Light Wounds (1d8+3=6) taking Olothoros back up to 20 HP.

"I am going to sleep." Olothros keeps Kimodo close and makes sure he is warm.

[Fabian]

OOC: And so we fast forward to the morning. Olothoros and Gaius have each prepared their spells, and the night has passed without incident in the creepy, cold city.

Olothros gets ready to head out and explore the rest of this city. He walks around to wake up the rest of the party. He tucks Kimodo back into his robes. "While you get ready I am going to scout around a bit." Olothros looks out of the doorway to see if there is any activity outside?

Will - for once having slept without any nightmares - yawns, stretches and goes to kick the doctor hard in the ribs
"OY! H...h...hangin' in there are yous?"
(Any reaction?)

Gaius wipes the sleep from his eyes.. he awakes to the doctors groan. " Will are you bothering that poor man again? "  "There is no need to continue terrorising him for your amusement."

Gaius checks on the doctors health and ensures that he is not getting worse from his previous injuries. "Will make yourself useful and douse the fire."

"Olothros, how is your arm? Are you feeling more elf today?" Gaius smirks at his own wit.

After checking the health of the doctor and olothros, Gaius gathers his equipment and surveys the room. Can we see now? or is it still in darkness?

Gaius finds that Will has injured the doctor in the ribs, and that a very nasty bruise is developing.

OOC: Gaius - consider your Key... you could gain some XP at this juncture one way or the other.

OOc Ive been using Gaius's key showing concern to the doctor

"Will ENOUGH! you have injured a helpless man!" Gaius tends the doctors bruise. "Good doctor, I apologise unreservably, if i can heal you without divine help i will, but failing that i will ask for asacimovs divine help to heal you"

OOC Healing skill check, if no signs of improvement., Gaius casts cure light wounds

" Will ... Will... thats it. You touch this man at your peril. Do not defy me and cause any injuries to this man ever. If i spot a bruise, nay a hair on his head out of place you will suffer the wrath of asacimov." Gaius leans close to Wills face mustering as much control as he can. "Asacimovs fury is hot,  it is rational and it is righteous in its wrath.... if that fails to dissuade you i will merely mention to Lunk that i think a bad spirit inhabits you... and only his axe can free it."

gaius looks Will in the eye... " Do... we... understand .. each .. other ...clearly? "
