All of us have some wounds (just some way worse than others). I don't think it would be wise for us to try this one. Just look down it and see what you can see. Maybe we can light an arrow and fire it down to shed some light on it.

Dekion looks at the sewer and turns to the party. "We should just stear clear before someone gets an infection we can't cure while we are down here. Lets go see what is over by the mirrors."

I'm not trying to put you guys off crawling down the pipe. I'm just suggesting that it'd be wise to send the person with the least wounds or the best fortitude save down there.

Rules stuff: there'll be no chance of infected wounds for crawling in the pipe. I was just trying to offer you guys a little roleplaying opportunity to help you decide who should go down there (if anyone).

"Well, I still reckon there's something down there, and if no one else want's to, I'll go"

Bodhi

Ellion leans against the wall for support.
"Not going" she mutters between clenched teeth sweat dripping down her forehead.
She waves her crossbow weakly
"I'll stand here shooting whatever comes out though"

Keeper

"How about I go invisible and climb along the ceiling of the tunnel?  I can see quite well in the dark, so I should be able to see more than you chaps anyway.  I promise I'll call and come back if there is more than I can handle.  Sarian needs to stay out of harms way nearly as much a Ellion."

"...but can you find and disarm traps? If there is no creature then you know it is trapped, just think about where we are."

I sigh and start off down the tunnel without the others noticing much

As the stench of the sewer pipe assails him and he crawls through muck and undescribable "stuff" Sarian finds himself wishing he'd got used to such foul smells. On the oher hand 'though, having learned to block out unpleasant aroma's would probably have denied him some of the more pleasant sensations of life.

As he crawls further into the darkness his hand bumps against a solid object, half submerged in the sludge. He feels around a bit and discovers a wooden box, about six inches high by about a foot square. With a little tugging he is able to dislodge the box but it's too dark to check the contents here just yet.

Does he wish to continue on or back on out? He is currently about 40-50' down the pipe.

I'll trudge back to the group, call out for one of them to get the chest once I'm at the mouth of the pipe, then wait a bit for the person to open it

Keeper

Rhana will (recklessly) go and move the chest back to the start of the pipe for Sarian.

Bodhi

Ellion takes ten steps far away from the chest if anyone is going to open it. AND holds her crowssbow aimed at it. She's started to get the hang of this place now (a bit late)

Dekion Calls out "check it for traps before you try to open it. Remember how the notes were trapped even though we had keys."

Sarian checks the box and doesn't find any traps. He doesn't find a lock either. When he opens the box he finds an iron key and a large sapphire.

eyeolas

"Hmm, not what I was hoping for, but I suppose it will have purpose later on," I say, showing the group the key and large GEM STONES

Keeper

"Who is holding the last gem stone?  I think someone else should carry this one, just, you know, in case."
