OOC: Let's make it Bluff vs Sense Motive - Will Bluff check - result 9 vs Gaius Sense Motive Check of 17. Will doesn't get away with it.

Will starts to get heavy handed in his treatment of the doctor and Gaius picks up on this.  " Will, please be more careful! I know that wasnt accidental. Do you seriously expect me not to know ALL your tricks! I may have to tolerate your less savoury characteristics, but i will not tolerate unethical treatment of prisoners" he says.

Unethical? Unethical? Now he's started using all foreign lingo and stuff. He really expects me to UNDERSTAND that? And who does he think he is to tell ME what HE tolerates or not? Think I'll have to pluck him down a bit soonish...

" Dont start that tone with me Will! It would be prudent to wait for the others, I suggest you get some more sleep Asacimov knows i need some.!" Gaius snaps, nerves frayed from the obsequiousness of the doctor, combined with cold and generally a feeling of unease.
He gathers his composure. "At least you can save your energy for foes that are more fearsome than defenseless bondaged men.. .i didnt think that was really your scene Will... . "  He says with a wry smile


If its one thing i know, slighting Wills masculinity is a sore point. Hopefully it will have the desired effect

He knows something! Wonder what? The grasping hands from his recurring nightmares lurk somewhere in will subconscious. It almost, just almost feels as if he's close to grasping it but it eludes him just filling him with a sense of unease and sudden shame

"W...w...well jus' havin a little tease is all..." he mutters. He kneels by the doctor and loosens the rope surreptiously at the "sore point". "j...j..jus' kiddin'" Will avoids the doctors eyes and gives a halfhearted slap to his shoulders
"N...n...no hard feelings 'ey!?"

The exploratory party enter the building where the party has made camp to find Gaius berating Will for some reason with the now awake Doctor Asworth tied up on the ground.

OOC: Timeline - Day 1-the night the group met Wohin; Day 2-the party sets out in the morning and travels the whole day; Day 3-late that day, they arrive at the asylum; Day 4-morning comes with meeting the inmates and leaving the asylum, as night descends (6pm) the group arrives at the Black Tower. It is now roughly 7pm (exact times really don't matter) on Day 4.

As Olothros walks back in he smiles as he lays eyes on his friends. "An argument between the two of you, who would have thought?! Come join me by the fire so we can talk about what we saw." Olothros goes by the fire and changes out of his wet winter clothes into his dry exploring outfit. He sets the wet clothes close to the fire (to dry) and checks on Komodo. Once the rest of the group joins up with him by the fire he tells them what he saw while he was out with Lunk. GOD it feels good to be near a fire! Come on so I can tell you this and get some rest. Once he is finished describing everything he asks Gaius "Do you think another round of interrogation is in order?"

Gaius takes olothros aside, out of the doctors hearing range  and whispers
" Brother im not sure how productive we will be with that line of investigation. The doctor has been most unhelpful. I believe the best thing would be to leave him tied up here and explore more of this place as a group. "

He looks around to see if anyone is watching.

" We should pack up all our gear and move on. If the doctor has friends here, no doubt they will find him. We should just make sure we double back here and free him or take him prisoner back to town once we know the fate of the two missing men. "

"Hey looka dat, the doctors okay!  Why'd you run away?  We're just trying to find out what happened to the poor missing villagers!"  Lunk grins oafishly.

"B...b...ballgag?" Will asks hopefully glancing at the doctor.
"W...w...we should at least silence him somehow if we're leaving him"
He rips of a part of his tattered cloak and ties up the doctors mouth
"N...n...no hard feelings but you haven't exactly been helpful" he sniggers

If the doctor doesn't say anything first he finishes his task and straightens up
"O...o...OK, ready to go."

"not a bad idea Will. At least he cant call out and warn his friends to set up an ambush."

Gaius packs and double checks his equipment. " where should we explore next Olotrhos? Lunk? Any leads on your searching? "

"Yes, a tremendous building across the way." Olothros swithes back into his now dry cold waether clothes and tucks Kimodo close to his skin under his robes. Once he is ready he leads the team to the large building so they can explore it as a team.
