"Y...y...you're NO fun at all." He grins at the elf "I H...h...had hoped something interesting would have happened to you..."

"ha ha.. well i do believe my eyes have been blinded by the sun on the snow.. i could have sworn i saw a door.. unless it was an illusion!  yes it was an illusion.. we must be careful im even more sure that a powerful mage must be here."

Gaius rubs his eyes and follows the others...

"Olothros tell me you saw the door too... Asacimov! ."

Oh dear asacimov, I dont want to end up like Abbott Fullmark, he still swears he has a pixie sized dragons living in his roses... oh the shame if insanity runs in our order!

"door?  what door?" mutters Lunk, quite confused by his companions' babble.  He pushes past Will, winking, and shouts, "Hulloooooooooooooooooo???"

Lunk's bellow echoes round the hollow Black Tower into the unseen depths below.

Olothros lets a rare smile slip through as he regard will "I'll remember that when you get in a bind" he turns away with a wink as Lunk steps up and bellows. "What are you doing? We don't want them to know we are here already. Everyone get ready for a fight."

"Lunk is always ready for a fight!

hullooooooooooooooo, I say!"

Olothros shakes his head and puts away his wand so he can pull out his longsword. "I think I will wind up using this first. There is nothing wrong with a fight my friend, and I know you are ready. Some of the time it is best to surprise our enemy, I'm sure Will agrees with that." He starts to move further into the tower.

OOC: Is the ramp the only way to go? Do we get a map?

OOC: The ramp downwards is indeed the only way in. No. There is no map for you!  :laughing7: The ramp winds down in a spiral to... well you'll have to go in and find out.

Olothros looks around to see if there is anything out of the ordinary or traps. There must be magic here. Where is it? He continues to move further in cautiously and looks down the stairs to see if he can see anything. "Oh the glories of the art, we are probably being watched as we enter."

Olothoros proceeds carefully down the ramp... nervously looking this way and that. All he hears is the wind outside and the wittering of his comrades. All he sees is the way down to the unknown.

Olothros decends slowly listening for any signs of life/danger. He periodically turns around and makes a sign to Lunk to stay as quiet as he can. I hope we find the father and son alive. Then I can see what other secrets are held in here. This is a nice out of the way place to practice my beloved art, too bad it is so cold.

"SSsshhhh, quiet.  Got it."  Lunk winks and stealthily follows Orthy, ready for action.  move silently check? just for kicks?  Lunk is fully kitted up.
