Ehrrrm. This is really meant to be a solo adventure isn't it?
The way things have been going so far I think it's beeen a wee bit unbalanced (AGAINST the monsters) Every monster that has been thrown at us has been a little TO lightweight. Perhaps that'll change?

Two of the last three encounters are real killers (as are many of the traps). I can see one of those last three encounters being really lethal myself. There's also a few save or die type of lethal encounters later on where the save's not particularly difficult but the consequences more than make up for the easy save.

Oh, and then there's the Pit Fiend as well, that one's always fun :). But I reckon chances are three of you will be alive by the time you meet the Bloodbeast and it'll probably gobble up two or three of you as well (given how lethal it's encounter is).

OOC: Quick question if I have stated numerous times that I am on guard all the time and even stated that he was moving down the corridor slowly and cautiously, how was I flat footed?

he just burst through a wall and started trying to eat you, do you think you would be fully prepared if something like that happened? This sort of makes up for everything that attacked us not having a surprise round (or auto 20 roll to initiative as my dm likes to do)

When I am in a dungeon that know one has ever made it out of, and I am purposely walking slowly lookin gout for exaclty that (being that there are monsters and traps everywhere), plus having my weapon and shield at the ready. Then yes I do think he would be prepaired. He is the fighter after all. I would at least have liked to have a refelx save to see if I could get out of the way. I don't think that is asking too much.

:yeahthat: Balgin don't give away the game before we get there. It might alter how players use their spells and limited use items.

Oh man I hope there aren't things that are worse than he mentioned. Plus the traps seem to be instant death not just get hurt or mild poison.

Go for it eyeolas. We know there isn't a pressure plate and even if some thing pops out of the corridor, all of us have ranged weapons.
