I am hoping. Bodhi should be back from vacation in a few days so We should be fine by then. I was hoping to spur Balgin on with this one with the post. If everyone posts I am sure he will get the game going again.

The computer's working again. And seriously, why do you guys keep asking for amap of a single corridor with a door at the far end (and the room on the side you just rested in)? I think this one's also sort of hung up on Bodhi's spell selection and he seems to have lost interest by now (it's been so long). We might need to look into me npc'ing her for a while or getting a new player in and someone seriously talking them through previous events. Or one of the other players could run her as a secondary character for a bit.

In that case, then, Balgin.  Can you PM Bodhi, and put up a spell list for him over the weekend if he's not responded.  I'm not really familiar enough with the class to make any reasonable selections.

Then Paul and I can pick things up next week and puppet the other two characters along for a bit.  I think eyeolas isn't around as much at the moment, as he said in the RR game that he'd been having computer problems too, but we can puppet his rogue for a bit too.

I'll not be online this weekend as it is my turn for a birthday, so I'll be following your lead Balgin and filling up with curry and some kind of cake, I think! :D

Balgin, since you've been around a bit more, of late.  I thought I'd ask how your computer is?  Hope its better! :)

Well it's got the old graphics cards, the old sound card, old DVD drive. And it's in the old box. And the old hard drive as a secondary I can pull stuff off. But apart from that pretty much everything in there is new (motherboard died).

That was £350 I didn't expect to be spending any time soon. I even had to visit the building society to make sure I'd have enough money in the bank to pay my bills with at the end of the month :(.

What I could salvage of Ellion's former spell list looks like this:

L0:, light (*2), virtue
L1: Entropic shield,
L2: consecrate, hold person,
L3: Magic circle against evil, water walk, summon monster III

Looking at the party she'll need 3 lesser restorations and plenty of healing (but she can spont that).

And we've got these slots to fill:

0: (5 spells)
1: (4 spells + 1 domain spell)
2: (4 spells +1 domain spell)
3: (2 spells +1 domain spell)

Okay so this daily update thing isn't going too well. I'll start with Ellion's spell list:

L0:, light (*2), virtue
L1: Entropic shield,
L2: consecrate, hold person,
L3: Magic circle against evil, water walk, summon monster III

0: (5 spells)
1: (4 spells + 1 domain spell)
2: (4 spells +1 domain spell)
3: (2 spells +1 domain spell)

Given the ammount of drained party members she'll need at least 3 lesser restorations. And given the ammount of poison is that old slow poison spell still around? It probably is. Okay then, here's a revised list for today's spells.

0: detect poison, guidance, 2 light, mending
1: Bless, Hide From Undead, Magic Stone, Protection from Evil (d), Remove Fear
2: Aid (d), Delay Poison, 3 Lesser Restoration
3: Invisibility Purge, Protection from Energy (d), Searing Light

Mine seems to be.

And I didn't need a map after the last description - it is pretty linear :icon_wink:  Well, it is at the moment  :icon_ermm:

I hope so. I went through and updated the status pages as I wrote the resting bit.

And in a moment of early morning insomnia I found the intro for the really rubbish 1998 computer game on youtube. For some reason there everyone seemd to think it was a playstation game (and given the controls, general area layout and design and the way things worked I wouldn't be surprised if it wasa PC port released early). Anyway watch it if you fancy a laugh. The guy is impressive, he never seems to panic but every time something else goes wrong his face just falls.

The whole thing was one horrible jumping and lever pulling nightmare with the penultimate level being basicaly impossible due to the obscene difficulty level (pulling two levers on ledges that had to be jumped to and from by a lift in the middle that would go up and down and by the time you got back up again the first lever had reset and all sorts of stupid rubbish like that).

And yes, there were blue chav goblins with hoodies.
