Looks like we're just waiting for Bodhi to pick Ellion's spell list before we continue.

 :yeahthat:

I'll see if I can get a map sorted out while we're waiting (it looks like the scanner might be available too).

Death or Traps given the name of this adventure.  And perhaps somewhere in this dungeon ;)

So what do you think are our chances guys?

If I hadn't let you rest back then I reckon I'd be looking at 3 fatalities and maybe 1 survivor. That's because Ellion was really badly hurt and Sarian was in a pretty poor shape too. Some of the encounters up ahead would probably have dealt with both of them and on balance I'd say one of the other two (not sure which) would have probably fallen too. Quite possibly both.

Now you're rested up I reckon two or three of you might survive (or possibly all four if you're really lucky). I know I've been using the map as almost an exuse to not continue this one for a bit while the others got re-established. Basicaly I couldn't be bothered to knock up a map of the section you've just passed through and was planning on scanning in the dungeon map and simply removing the sections you haven't visited yet as a "map so far". The scanner was unavailable for a lengthy period of time :(. Now my father's birthday's out of the way I'll stand a better chance of being able to use it. Part of me considered saying "well they're underground and they weren't allowed to bring any map making stuff in with them (see the original equipment restrictions) so an up to date map isn't essential" but the other part of me said "yeah but it'd make play a whole lot easier if people want to backtrack and stuff".

Ellion's spell list not being finalised has sort of helped cover the delay a bit so it hasn't quite felt like my fault. I'm almost feeling like offering some generous advice (basicaly reminding you of a few hints and clues you've come across to date, certain spell selections on her behalf could probably alleviate some of the dangers - I could see the legendaryu Bloodbeast easily slaughtering the entire party (and not because of it's combat stats but due to other dangers it provides)). I could also see the Pit Fiend slaughtering an entire party if they're not very clever or very lucky.

Hi

Interesting story so far - Balgin ran it for me a short while ago. Played Dwarf Cleric of Boccob, with Magic & Trickery Domains. Ask Balgin how I totally abused the 'Disguise Self' spell....

Lastly, if anyone thought the location seems a bit familiar, my father lives in Thailand, on the Sukhamvit Rd, which I think goes to Chang Mai!

Cheers

If Bodhi hasn't picked a spell list in the last month I doubt he'll be any more inclined to do so while he's on holiday for the next fortnight. I'll select one for him.

Hey guys.  I know we're on a bit of a hiatus, but I thought I'd better let you know that I'm on holiday all next week, so I'll not be online at all until a week on Monday, anyway!

The way things are going I don’t think we would be ready to get this one going until about then anyway. Bodhi is still away for another week if I am remembering correctly.
