A magic ring of good luck (might've been protection +3 or something, I know there was a +3 bonus to something from it).

Nope. It's a magical trap (apart from the water, the water's not summoned). The voice is magical and the ring would be magicaly summoned from another place outside the dungeon.

Well I tried. I figured it was a magic mouth or something similar. So the prize would be teleported in. Sarian could have used some extra luck.

I think his luck in terms of game mechanics is not too bad - he just needs to push one of us ahread, occasionally, rather than setting off all of the traps himself :)  But I do understand, as I used to play characters of a very, very similar nature, only they used to be mostly dwaves ;)

He is the theif so he has the trap finding and disarming skills. The rest of us don't, so we just need to keep him alive and I guess out of the fights as much as we can.

I think his luck in terms of game mechanics is not too bad

He's faikled to find a couple of traps by rolling 1 or two points short and he's rolled a few 1's more for skill checks than anyone else. I'm glad he has such a high luck score (remember to say you want to use luck when searching for traps that might be hard to find).

yes, I love the more brainy characters, and coming up with abstract ideas no one else does, I've had some seriouse bad luck though (wierd, I usually roll so well in warhammer, but I never do well in DnD)

On the current matter, I recon those worms will attack (constrict and crush) if we touch the dagger, so we should take them out if possible before touching the sword. Any spell ideas? Does Dekion have great cleave?

Yes he does. I was already thinking along those lines but would like to know what is above us first. I think all of us have ranged weapons as well so we can maybe have them out and shoot at it once we know what we are dealing with.

They aren't that dangerous.
