Balgin, is that a real song?

if so find it on youtube please, I'd like to hear it. It is a suitable time to quote a bit from OotS: 1st Pannel finds the party being faced by a troll. 2nd pannel the fighter sais to the troll 'let us pass'. 3rd pannel they are walking past the troll saying 'see, not every monster is out to kill you.'. It is so true. (I tend to just run in and kill though)

Nope, it's the chorus from a real song (there's about 3 or 4 verses "I may work delivering pizzas, may drive a car that's too old, but when I'm playing Hackmaster, my PC's rolling gold....").

Someone suggested shooting the hobgoblins with a crossbow (either Ellion or Dekion shooting) and I went "so are you gunna waste 'em with your crossbow then?" And then, realising you might not get the reference, I quoted the chorus from the song. Then Eyeolas asked if it was a real song so I posted the link.

Okay guys, we've got a problem here. Ellion opened the bottle and sniffed the contents.

I have no sense of smell.

So, it is virtualy impossible for me to describe how the contents of the bottle smell because the only thing I'll definitely know it'll smell like is what it actualy is. I'm fairly certain that the contents of the bottle will have a strong smell, but not neccessarily recognisable.

So... it would be handy if we could have an independant adjudicator that I can disclose the nature of the liquid to and ask to describe the smell to me. This might cause a slight delay.

Yeah, poor Sarian's had a really hard time so far. If he gets to rest up a bit and recieve hieling he should be okay but for now he's ahd it hard :(. Just don't mock Ellion too much or she might initiate a grapple and force you to drink the acid....

That way clearly leads back (beneath the bell) to the entrance. (Map updates being buggy). Clearly the only way onwards now is through the statue's cavern.

Well now that it is settled we need one of the other players to suggest we go the other way and for us to go. I am fine with taking the point for now unless someone else (not sarian) wants to do it.
