Evening all, found my way here via Mike/CustomHobby's posts on Frothers...

RL:Ian, run my own company working in architectural,exhibition and display modelmaking together with a sideline business in hobby supplies and resin scenery. Been messing around with models,RPGs and minis for around 30 years plus now; have been away from the hobby for a while, tho as the big scale bill-paying stuff took over somewhat. Trying at the moment to reverse the priorities a little :)

About taking photos, if you have a decent camera with above 4 mega pixels but are having trouble getting close ups of your figs.  Try taking the shot a bit further away from the fig and when it goes onto your pc, use a graphic editor like paintshop pro or whatever to crop the background out so all thats left is the fig and a little border.  Because the photo quality is so good it in effect zooms in for you without losing any clarity
