The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

cheddarmonger

It was enough, though!

@Alf, sorry I accidently over-wrote your post!  :icon_ermm: I removed it to avoid confusion!

That's fine. Didn't exactly put the game forward did it?  :icon_wink:

Mine was good too. I will have him explain it to the group after they kill the last one.

You guys are so lucky, I had the distinct impression that those egg cup seats were beholder perches but realised they were a bit too small for that.

QuoteOOC:1d20+3=14 vs AC 11= hit for 4 points of damage 1d4=4 and Fort check against DC 12 1d20+2=5 = Olthy has been poisoned!

No initial poison damage : that's got to be bad then (meaning it could be a very deadly slow acting one or something).

It doesn't heal is what it said but nothing else. I will wait to see what he posts next round.

That's right - damage from Vargouille bites doesn't heal... at all (naturally or magically). The poison has to be removed.

Oh right, a different kind of poison (perma damage).

I am having a hard time with one of my charaters Keys and need some help/suggestions

Your life is often filled with chaos as you seek novel experiences, models, or substances with which to perform your craft. Gain 1 XP whenever you pursue your art to the detriment of your luxury (going without food for days, not working and so not having the money for rent, what-have-you). Gain 2 XP whenever the pursuit of your art causes you notable risk or harm; painting a Khale chieftain's daughter in the nude. Gain 5 XP whenever you risk great sacrifice or danger to pursue your art. Buyoff: Give up an element of your art you were pursuing, in favor of something/someone else.

His art is Magic and that is what I am having the hard time playing up in character.

Oh if only Little Nem were in this game. She'd probably have that as one of her keys (she's such a perfectionist). When I looked down the list I actualy saw a few that'd suit her (and quite a few that wouldn't). So make him a perfectionist then. When he uses magic add a little personalisation to the spell descriptions (maybe his acid arrows are like little darts, maybe they fliy like arrows, maybe they hover by his hand for a moment and then shoot instantly to their target, stuff like that). Or maybe his artistic approach is not the end result but the way that he goes about things "No I won't cast floating disc today because it's a teusday!"
