Subduing! Here's one for me

Any chance for Will to subdue one of those humans? I'm unclear about the rules?

Attempting to cause nonlethal damage incurrs a -4 penalty (normaly). The damage you deal is kept separate from hit point damage (as it's subdual damage). When the two (wounds + knockout) total at the target's total hp or more they go down.

Instead of healing at level per day subdual damage heals at level per hour.

It's possible to take hge ammounts of subdual damage in exess of total hitpoints without risking death (although the GM might declare a body so badly battered it starts to take actual damage).

No, this is the altar with the mosaic around it, not the screaming head statue. The former is in the temple, the latter is not. It is the former you are attempting to destroy.

Gaius is feeling spectacularly useless at the moment. Staff broken and cant level it over.

He can always try to talk it to death i guess.  :icon_wink:

Gaius will use it at a penalty for non-proficiency. Bwahahahaha. So that's -4 before any other additional penalties or boni.
