:icon_eek: 47! At Level 4! That's nuts! Oh ok, checking his other stats I can see he's a bit dim and hasn't got much common sense. That could be useful; "I say Aurum, old chap, would you mind just standing here while I fire arrows from behind you?" (oo-er)
The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

Keeper

And if we get stuck near a water-filled tunnel, you know who is going in first ... :)

Int below 10: He's illiterate even if he's not a barbarian :p.

Fabian

Ha! Damn right. "Hmm, Aurum, since you're so great at swimming and stuff, would you mind awfully setting off the traps er I mean... scouting?"

He isnt bright but he isn't braindead.  He can sure as hell fight and there is that breath weapon too, so try to avoid misunderstandings :icon_wink:

No scouting for him, just fighting.

Araum, we've just found a chest that needs fighting.  Do you fancy stepping up, this time? :)

Fabian

To paraphrase the Brigadier: "Aurum, stone chap twenty paces, breath weapon rapid fire!"

That's so crazy.  :icon_razz:

But I suppose no odder than a wizard fireballing something. Except it comes out of his mouth...  :icon_scratch: :icon_mrgreen:

Why I am I suddenly reminded of "I am a cider drinker" by the Wurzels? :)

On a diffeent topic:

I've just been looking for a pics of a mini for Raul.  I didn't have this in mind when I came up with the character at all, but the ranger I painted recently has some of the things needed: Longsword; quiver (even though he doesn't have a bow); dagger; cloak; studded leather armour and Traveller's Outfit.

I'm just not sure its quite Raul.  What do other people think, please?  I could add a large sheild.

Fabian

He looks familiar!  :icon_wink:

Alex

That's a dashing hat!

If you told me that was Raul, I wouldn't argue. I didn't picture him in green; maybe more of an urban feel in general. But then again, I've only the barest notion of what Ivor looks like in my head, let alone anyone else's character.

Speaking of which, I take it Aurum doesn't have a beard? I can see it getting in the way of the whole firebreathing thing.   :icon_silly: :icon_razz:

As long as he's bright enough to throw himself between me and any encroaching mooks, I'm sure we'll get on just fine. Does he have fire resistance, perchance?  :icon_whistling:

Custom_Hobby

I didn't really think about the beard, it is possible. The breath weapon is a cone, so it isn't that big at his mouth. Plus look at Balgin's pic, his beard isn't in the way, his mustache is. He doesn't have fire resistance (yet).

Anyone know of a guide or good write up of descriptions of what the Int # represents?

Fabian

Intelligence is smarts, reasoning, book learning, logical thinking, ability to learn new things and extrapolate from old. An average human has an Int of 10. An animal will have 1 or maybe 2. An average orc has an Int of 8; which makes Aurum as smart as an orc  :icon_wink:

Maybe he doesn't have a moustache or anything on his bottom lip, so he's kind of like a fire-breathing, Amish dwarf.
