Well it's not an auction, it's an ebay webshop (now there's a contradiction in terms).

I'll place an order with that leisure games company tonight so then hopefuly they'll get back to me about out of stock stuff sometime tomorrow or friday. After that, I'll know if I need to do the ebay thing or not (which can then hopefuly wait 'till teusday when I've met the guys on sunday & monday and find out what's going on :)).

There's been no reply from them yet (apart from the first one telling me they should have it in soon). That was a good two to three weeks ago so I should probably assume they aren't getting it anytime soon.

Great "alternate Eiryss" sculpt. Do a handswap (right hand, to give her the default crossbow) and maybe a headswap (scale dependant) and she'd be ready to paint. However I don't want to place an order with a company halfway round the world for just one figure (albeit two copies, one to paint as is and one to carve up and mutilate into something new). So if anyone feels like helping out then let me know.

that mini is tiny and pretty awful in terms of flatness (it's dome by an ex-rackham sculptor) and is 'spyglass' small

unfortunately i got rid of mine a long time ago (though i did place in that painting comp)

Thanks for the warning about size. I still feel that almost anything which resembles the original Eiryss artwork more than the wanky hyperactive action pose model where the torso is anatomicaly impossible in at least two ways (in that it fails to twist or turn to allow the position of the limbs to be possible, in two completely opposite and impossible ways, but just remains straight as if neither the arm or the leg were crossed over the body or flung back like that) .....


.... would be a major improvement.

The fact that the redid the artwork to try and make the miniature look better is a bit depressing really. They had a lovely huntress/assassin stalking her foe picture (for a sniper/huntress) and then they sculpted a manga pose that simply doesn't suit the sneaky sneaky character concept at all.

Not good.

I am currently seeking....

A miniature depicting a heavily armoured bald female human warrior wielding a double handed flailing type of weapon (long handle, chain & eapon head). Failing that she'd settle for a two handed mace.

I'm considering converting one of Kev's Dark Age "bald girl with two handed mace" sculpts but she's practicaly naked and it'd be one hell of a conversion. Link.

I'm thinking of the more relaxed one, no the aggressive attacking one. She's not a warrior, she's the priestess of a goddess of deciet and vengeance who pretends to be a fighter type as a cover identity (and has done so very well in the past).

If anyone can find a good mini that might suit her and involve less converting, or has any suggestions for converting a practicaly naked model into wearing full plate armour (or something almost as bulky) then I'd be interested to know.

Edit: Oh yeah, I almost forgot, she should have decidedly latino features (so some mini's might just look wrong anyway).

Actualy the main reason I mentioned that model (other than the fact that I thought it'd be good for the character as soon as I saw Kev's WIP photo's) is that I already have her and am more interested in convertion ideas/advice. However I put it here in the wishlist thread first because other people might have good alternative recommendations (as indeed you did).

Balgin if you are still after this figure (and i assume you had no luck with leisure games that i recommended, D'oh!) then this site  http://www.simpleminiaturegames.com/html/  that CH started a thread on says it has 5 in stock and dirt cheap to (under the 50% off Rackham part of the online store).
