Now just a reminder, these won't be perfect representations of your characters. They're battlemap icons (similar to miniatures but they aren't real). Now there's not a lot of classic female dwarf art but this one grabs me as being sort of appropriate for Hasta (there might be some hobbits and gnomes from the 90's who fit the part too).

It's shrunk down from a larger picture which I have included because I'd like to know if anyone else knows what it's taken from as I'd like to see the whole thing. That helmet looks similar to the Dragonlance style (it reminds me of the second Lord Verminards helmet even 'though his original helmet was much better).

I've got a few images in mind for Thorgrin and Kharsis. The others are still waiting for pictures but I'm currently open to suggestions. Feel free to discuss things guys :).

Nice picture - I might have a look to see if there's any less militant-looking female dwarves out there, but otherwise this is fine.

Well I'm aiming to maintain a consistant art style in the game's portraits. There's some hobbit bard from the Forgotten realms stuff who might do (the same goes for  afew other pictures too). But yeah, have a look around and see what you can find. I did trim it down to try and make the helmet look like a hat and to crop out most of the armour.

Nice work on that picture Balgin. What do you have for Thorgrin so far?

This:

There's lots of nice browns and quite  alot of reds but greys and whites aren't so easy to find (I almost think 1's the best match and the others (2 and onwards) are better pictures).

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten this as a posssible for Hasta but if I went with it we'd be going in a completely different artistic direction (and I doubt there'll be lots of decent photo realistic troll pictures out there somewhere :p).

Those are nice images for Thorgrin but I am not sure if they are quite what I picture him looking like I will look around and send you a few and see if they fit in with the look you are after.

It's Reaper concept art. I've had the model for a few years but never got round to painting it yet. There's a few pages on their website where they write about their wargame and it's got two pictures but every time you load the page it randomises them from a list. Each of the pictures is a coloured artistic representation of one of their miniatures and she's one of those pictures.

And in case you hadn't geussed, she's a Klocke sculpt so somewhere between the concept art and the finished sculpt her face suddenly became a lot more angular :(. The thing in her left hand is an apron and she's got things hanging off the back of her belt but I can't remember what they are now without looking.

Personaly I'm waiting for this pack of 2 myself. The one on the left's recently become available separately but now I've seen this picture I like the second one too (but nowhere near as much). Maybe I'll get the left hand one on his own as well to have three of them :).

Hey,

Just checking you noticed the pics I posted above - I think the post might have been missed while you posted pics for Thorgrin.

I noticed. The first one's a good picture but it looks a bit sketchy and stylisticaly it's very different from most of the pictures I've already got earmarked for various monsters and npc's.

Of the other two, well I'm not really much of a Lockewood fan (even 'though one of my old friends is called John Lockewood). The dark haired woman by the portal almost seemd okay but the other one was so small she sort of blended into the background.

Now if only Thorgrin had had different colouration there's so many pictures that would've been suitable:

There's better scans of that 1st one on my hard drive. It's just the first one I found in a hurry and it's lost a lot of colour.

Oh, there's always this lovely priestess too. And some more colourful dwarven folk too.
