I have absolutely _no_ idea how american rounders works at all - apart from it involves a hammond organ, and that can't be a good thing, now, can it?

It's been hard getting away from the kids but today I got a whole lovely day of diving (a drysuit course. I've almost only dived in drysuit but it was good as a refresher after a long period of abstinence).

It really fills me with new energy even if bodily I'm fatigued... A lot of heavy carrying involved in diving. Once you hit the water it's no problem but carrying the 30-40 kilos of equipment BEFORE you hit the water takes its toll

My days are really busy, so I've only been painting and posting sporadically, but...

Got a re-org at work.  Lots of opportunity!  Running ragged, transitioning people into new positions, but it has been great fun.

We finally got our front lawn seeded!  Woohoo!  Our landscaping nightmare is slowly drawing to a close!

We adopted a puppy!  A fun, big, floopy lug of a dog; 6.5 months old lab/rottweiler mix, he's 70 pounds already!  (32 kilos)  Very good natured, he's a huge commitment, but he's bringing us a bunch of joy.  He's our first dog as adults, so we can reclaim some of the horrific experiences we had with dogs managed by others in our past...

Dad is coming to visit at the end of the month!

My wife's new job is turning out to be a fantastic opportunity for her, she's challenged and happy!

So, I'll get more stuff painted and posted sooner or later.
