Nuns with Guns

[Keeper]

As promised, yesterday, somewhere on this forum ... The Keeper brings you ....

GZG Nuns with Guns.

More Nuns

Painted for playing a CombatZone mini-scenario that I created called "Porn Wars: Church vs. Sex"

Their opponents are the five em4 Politcally Incorrects.  I'll try and photograph the other side ASAP :D

These are great!

Out of curiosity; the miniatures look kinda glossy; have you ever tried to use matt varnish to knock off the shine?

Looks like the need some dullcoat. They look nice though.

I know - I picked up some Dullcoat from Anciotinitriirir (sp?)'s Workshop at Triples. I haven't got around to trying it yet, but I don't want to experiment on these ladies, first :)

The gloss effect comes from EE Satin Vernish!

Still, they're nice and durable for gaming :)

I generally spray 3-4 coats of gloss coat for durability then 2-3 coats of dullcoat to knock the shine.

OK, thanks for that info - I'll give it a go :)
