My own home???

I've been thinking of getting some sort of homepage for myself for ages now but I really have no idea where to start.
Anybody got any tips for how to manage this? Simple and cheap preferably. Nothing fancy. Basically I just need somewhere to organize my pictures slightly more presentable than in my photobucket album, and some room for comments. Nothing more. No Forum or anything like that. We have plenty of good ones allready.

Check if your internet provider has given you any space with your internet subscruption.
I got some with my AOL dial-up account ( The AOL is back-up now if the broadband goes down and i used the email address for a lot of places too. ) and need to sort it out somethime...  :icon_ermm:
