well here's the start to a new army intend to first build and then paint:



8 saxon geoguth assembled so far (all my hands could take)  they are from westwind productions (spears from perry miniatures)  and i'm already excited about how they are at the moment.

only another 100 or so to assemble now.......... :icon_w00t:

i'm really impressed by the separate head system that westwind use. it adds a good amount of variety to the sculpts and the wire spears makes everything appear just that bit more in scale.

the casting is a bit off (lots of mould lines and one of the poses has a lot of flash to cut away) other than that i'm happy
