Hey all, this is Hasslefrees excellent 28mm Artemis miniature that I recently painted to get back into the painting "groove" for GD. I tried to give it a semi-historical feel by keeping to plain leather and bronze with a bit of weathering using paint and pigment. The base was "painted" with MIG pigments. This was also an oppertunity for me to try out my new light tent (an adapted version from licams tutorial) and Wargriffons GIMP article. I very much enjoyed painting her, and I think she came out pretty well.

Difficult to tell from this distance ;)  But the CMoN link helps! :D

She looks great - another fine example of this excellent mini!  I have only one question - which you've probably got a good answer for, but I can't figure it out!  Why is the blood on the end of her sword darker, as though dried, than the blood lower down?

Great job all round, though, squig!

Beatiful paintjob :)

Also one of my favorite miniatures.

fromwhat I can tell it looks nice.  A larger picture is definately called for.
Long term exposure to the Orb of Confusion will give you...er.. confusion!

I invite you to my dot on the web: http://www.darkgrinminiatures.com

The only thing I could suggest is some decor on the shield. It works without it, but it's dying to be ornate.
Great job on this one.

@Dargin and Hawkins, the CMON link has much bigger pictures in it ;)

Ta to the others as well.
