Model kit plans?

I'm hoping that many of you out there will have built a few plastic model kits in your time   :icon_suspicious:

What I'm after is as many vehicle/aircraft/robot/whatever plans/drawings as possible - the line drawings that typically show decal placement and suggested paint schemes. Photocopies of the relevant part of the plans would be equally useful if you don't want to part with the originals.

PM me if you've got anything and hopefully we can sort summats out !

Honestly.. I tend to bin the plans when the kit is built.

@ Bungle - plans for scratchbuilding. Much as it's easy to churn out a bajillion little scenery odds and sods I want to start producing some stuff that's a bit more personally challenging and/or showstopping. I've scratchbuilt AFVs and aircraft over the years in every scale from 1:500 to 1:1 but 1/55 is relatively untouched so far :)

Modern or near-modern and SF stuff will go to the top of the list - but also interested in WWII, ancients, whatever....

I'm pretty certain I don't have plans for any ancient tanks :icon_wink:  Although I fear an Iceni Panzer might appear in next week's Bonekickers ... ::)

You may want to have a chat with Nigel and Crouchie.... Chieftain and Anglian Miniatures. They have lots of plans, and lots of vehicles, and do them for Sloppy Jaloppy, BAM, Artizan etc

They also work closely together so avoid duplicating stuff and share bits, that vehicles share.

Both nice blokes and I am sure that you could all come to an arrangement together to do various overlapping models rather than competing with the same stuff.

They have done some modern stuff and a few other bits not yet released.

I won't say no to decals if you're sure you don't want'em. Makes it far easier to produce new ones if I have the old ones to copy :)

And there are kits around of things like siege equipment. I see your Iceni Panzer and raise you one Macedonian siege engine :P

Yeah,I've seen some of their stuff and have no plans to overlap. Which is why near future and SF will take precedence...but other stuff is very, very handy for reference.

Picked up the Company B Stryker last week for quality comparisons. Quite a nice kit...but it led me to looking at other stuff, hence the requests for Buffalo/Cougar etc on Frothers and the rough beginnings of a model on the bench at work..... :icon_suspicious:

So some new lines for Fenris, sounds good. I was thinking of doing a few ancient kits too.
