just been to see it this evening.  not sure if it lived up to the hype for me.

twoface seemed a bit rediculous and could have been done much better (and the way he turned could have been better explained)

the thing i couldnt get.....and this cracked me up each time it happened (maybe it's the meds i'm on).....is that batman had 2 voices  :icon_eek: :icon_scratch:  why?

much better than the joel schumacher batpantos but i think it could have been pushed a bit further still

I really enjoyed it. Saw it last night.

I thought the Joker was the best portrayal of a homicidal insane clown for a long time. Real meat to the traps and games he plays. It struck me as being a closer portrayal to a number of short stories written about the Joker i read years ago. Nevertheless I thought the movie was deeper and cleverer than the last one.

Batman i think gets short stick in this one, because his character development seems lacking. But i wonder if its to show that as a character its really 2 dimensional at best. Two face portrayal was disappointing but fitted really well with the story they were telling. ie That its all a mindscrew by the joker to bring everyone to his twisted moral level.

No i really liked this, i genuinely felt the terror that the Joker brought to the city. I liked how they managed to bring the twisted relationship between the Joker and Batman to life in this movie. It really felt like i was reading one of the comics where the Joker killed Robin.

Pity Ledger is dead and wont be able to bring this character back, but nevertheless i think i would like to not have this performance diminished with another movie.

I really thought the Batman was intentionally kept 2 dimensional.  I think thats an important part of his "problems" which he even admits to during the movie.    I REALLY enjoyed it-really.  The joker was just amazing.
