I've already posted these on the Forum of Doom, but thought I'd share here to ellicit some discussion:

The purple ladies...



I struggled with these for quite a while, trying animal patterns or human-ish flesh colors, but in the end I went with something more chromatic; it brings out their evilness.  Besides, they are too small to support stripes, spots, etc.  Just not enough flat surfaces.

I also struggled with bases; the reclining beasties are an awkward size.  I went with Andy's recommendation and used the 30mm round bases supplied, but their feet are hanging over the edge.  The prone one is actually kicking her feet up a little, so there's no problem there, and the sideways one has her feet posed in a way that the problem isn't too bad.  In gaming, I guess their area of influence is a little larger than a normal 5' square...  I'll have to work them into a game at some point!

And for the photography buffs out there, these are my first production pictures with my new studio flash setup.  I think these lovelies are shot at f22 with 1/200 shutter speed.  I set the white balance to "flash," which I may have to re-do as the pictures look a little too blue to me.

As I said on the FOD, these are most excellent :icon_smile:  So I'll have to go into uber-critical mode to find anything at all.

And the only thing that I noticed was the soles of their feet are the same colour as the rest of them (and the palms of their hands as well, I guess, but we can't see those!).  Now that could easily be explained away by their demonic nature, but soles and palms are usually lighter than the rest of someone's skin tone.  Not that you can tell on me - I blend in with a snowdrift!

I like the skin, the big red lips are a little freaky and dont work for me. But they are demonic wenches... so i guess they are not meant to be human looking.
