New Auction Site

 This is pretty new to me anyway.  I have had no luck so far for selling figs off my site, someone suggested this site.

  Anyone use it?

You can setup a store (25 items or less) for free... so you can maintain your site, and use some models to bring traffic to it. Regardless where you sell it, I think that paying $0.17 to increase your chances of sales is a good investment. I do NOT work for WGM. I use eBay to put couple of my items and bring traffic to my WGM's store. It cost me to put some of my items (valued at more than $100) for less than $0.70... including all the 'extras'... they will be posted up to 20 months (if they don't sell)... AND when they sell, they re-post automatically. Its hands-free!

So far, it works for me... best of both worlds. Traffic from eBay (those items will sell, even if eBay will eat a substantial chunk of the profits) and I get to attract customers to WGM, where they save lots of money AND I get to keep most of the profit. You may give it a chance.

I am the owner of WM and can confirm that the fees stated are correct.  WM currently receives 5000 unique visitors per day and is rapidly taking traffic from ebay which is letting down hobby sellers with its large fees and poor service for smaller members.

Please come on over and give us a try, the site is fully featured and also has the benefit of its own INTERNAL members bulklisting tool which is easy to use and more flexible than the downloadable ebay turbolister.

We are pleased to report that after a long night the Wargames Market migration to a new server is complete. We would like to apologise to any members who have experienced any difficulties in accessing the WM site over the past 8 hours.

Our upgraded host server is a significant investment and should not only improve site performance, but will future-proof the site. We can now deal with up to ten times our current daily traffic (around 5000 unique visitors - that is already a lot of buyers and sellers!) meaning that the WM site is now in a position to deal with volume traffic and take on Ebay head-to-head in terms of site availability.

If you know people still exclusively selling or buying on Ebay please spread the word. The Wargames Market has the traffic and the infastructure to be the wargaming auction alternative at a fraction of the cost.
