Had a bad day yesterday painting some awful minis in an awful colour scheme, so much so that I gave myself the day off from commissioned stuff and painted this to cheer me up and get those ideas going again.

Happy with the overall look, not one of my best by a longshot, but fun to do, and another lovely mini!!!

Very cool mate, don't s'pose you've got any leading edge aliens to compare have you?

What made you go for green?

Bruenor Odinson

Ta.
Sadly I don't, I'd love some tho.
He stands about 3 or 4 mm taller than Dr Hugh, the bases I have them on are the same height.

I plan to do the other 3 I have all in different skin colours, and armour, to represent different ages and clans.
If you look at the Arnie Pred, he has a greenish tone whereas the Pred2 is Khaki and brown, and the ones in AVP I'm pretty sure are all slightly different too, but don't quote me on that one.
Bloody lovely mini to paint, as I have found with all the Copplestone stuff I've done.
(did a load more Gangsters, but didn't get a cahnce to take pics before I had to hand them over, will try again if the bloke will let me)

Great job you made on him, spots is something I haven't really done myself and yours are spot on.  :icon_wink:

great work on the skin mate, I dont like the brown for the other bits though.  Makes him look prehistoric and not futuristic to me.  Gotta love that skin though  :clap2:

Excellent work :)

I have to say that this is my least favourite of the Copplestone Hunter Sculpts - its just that I expect him to be saying "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio."

But you're paintwork really improves the sculpt!

I imagined him roaring loudly showing off his new prize, but I see where you are coming from, "alas poor Yorick I slew him well"
LOL!!

Here is one great idea for a diorama!

Yeah get that mini, and one that looks like Horatio Kaine, from CSI Miami, that would be a cool set!!

My brain is much more twisted than this! I was thinking of the predator on a scene really playing Hamlet  :dragon:
