OK. Own up. Exactly HOW bad is your addiction?
I must myself confess to between 16 and 25 cups a day... And none of that american/british wishy washy either. Real strong black coffee. Usually around afternoon I get a headache and think "Ah, maybe I should drink something ELSE than coffee". Sweden is top of the world in amount of coffee consumed per person by the way - measured in amount of actual coffee used up :icon_wink: (if you count amount of FLUID USA tops the list but due to making their coffee extremely weak the amount of actual coffee used is lower)

Not much really... about 6 mugs of almost espresso strength black coffee.

I get the headaches when I haven't had the coffee.

Cant stand the stuff, need 5 sugars in a cup to be able to drink it.  Tea is the one for me.  I drink about 5 large cups per day so around 10 normal cuppas.  I think climate factors in it though, the colder it is the more I drink to warm me cockles.  I have a Tefal Quick Cup and its brilliant  :icon_wink:

That would explain it then. In the north of Sweden the most coffee is consumed. -30 degrees celsius in the winter was COMMON. If it reached -35 degrees we didn't have to go to school. -42 is the coldest I've experienced. We didn't go out many minutes that day...
Oddly in Stockholm where I live now it rarely gets colder than -18 or so but due to air humidity that often feels COLDER than -30 in the north.

Work day's 4-6 mugs of tea, weekends 8-10 mugs of tea.

All depends on if I'm at home and what I'm doing, If painting, then I tend to forget the tea and it's ends up colder than a witch's bit! and I can't drink it then.
Microwaving the tea to warm it, only make sit taste bad.

Just the same as Wristaction, I can't stand the smell, and even less the taste. The only times I drank coffee was with milk and a lot of sugar. I like tea from time to time in the evening, but I'm not that addicted. Although I remember we used to have more tea when my wife and our newborn baby daughter came back home, at the begining.

I'm more a fruit juice guy, currently it's grape, but sometimes it's apple or orange  :shrug:

Crikey Bodhi, thats extreme cold in my opinion.  I cant bear it below 20 degree C and thats a big reason for moving to Caribbean, 26 C average temperature  :icon_w00t:  I dont mind a cold day of around 5-10 degrees but as long as theres no wind, the air feels so crisp and clean.  I'd prefer sunshine all year round though, I'm a bit of a poof when it comes to coldness.  My mother drinks tea even in hot summers but I cant face it then, they say a hot drink cools you down, I say its crud* as you dont see tea drinkers on the beach and in sports.....

Microwaving cold tea?  Urrgh that must taste terrible, I avoid using microwave as much as poss, I even prefer to use a saucepan and gas flame for baked beans I am that against them.  So far only found Uncle Bens rice to be edible from a microwave.

Chrysalis fruit juices win hands down mate, I am a Ribena addict and love the stuff, nothing else comes close  :icon_wink:

Coffee is a work day drink for me but as long as I get caffeine in some form I'm happy, normally diet coke.

I love a good cup of tea but rarely drink it unless I'm ill or freezing (don't feel the cold too much so not that often).

My other addiction is lime juice.

Not sure if this is partly cos I am a heavy smoker but whether I drink tea or coffee, after 2 cups I have the breath of a thousand camels.  Thats my only criticism of the stuff.....

Don't ruin good alcohol by adding loads of stuff to it has allways been my opinion.

Lime however is my main foodspice. I use up at least fifteen limefruits a week. But then I like Thai and vietnamese and lebanese cooking so it's no wonder. Don't drink it often. Cranberry juice is my favourite for drinking.

Green tea really stains.. bizarre but i see it very often.

Bodhi.. go and get a good scaling, and i recommend bleaching your teeth. It really works well on coffee stains.

I love coffee too much to give it up.... and i dont want the headaches.

I bought 1000 tooth polishers from Dr John Steinman in the US in the hope I could sell them here at a profit.  so much vat got added on coming into country it didnt work out a feasible seller so I never really bothered trying to sell them.  I have 962 tooth polishers left lol  They are great though, I havent been to the dentist since 1986 and I have perfectly white teeth, well after a good scrub with the tooth polisher that is.  Being a heavy smoker I get black marks on the backs of my teeth but a rub with this thing takes them all off.  at £1 each they sure beat an expensive trip to Agentmolars  :icon_w00t:  If anyone wants any just shout.  I paid about £1 each for them but around £250 got added on in VAT the robbing gits.  I am only looking to get £1 each for them or 10 for a fiver hows that?  That makes me cheaper to buy from than the Dr himself  :icon_wink:  He wants $6.99 each !!!!
