Anyone got a good recipe for Sandstone?

GW paints pls?

Was it Medved who painted that female fig with the sandstone base?  it was done well so may be worth checking with them

Was me (assuming you mean the ilyad lady)

I used:
Basecoat: P3 Menoth White Base (Bleached Bone, with a drop more brown)
First Highlight: P3 White Highlight (Bleached Bone and Skull White mixed 50/50)
Shading Wash: P3 Sanguine Base (Scab Red with a drop of Purple)
2nd Shading Wash: Same as 1st but add a tiny drop of black.
Drybrush lightly: P3 Menoth White Base (Bleached Bone, with a drop more brown)

That's pretty much how I did it. I may of done a couple of Bestial Brown washes as well after the 2 shading washes, just to deepen the browns a bit. (But using Bestial Brown, still keeps the reds)
