Game books for sale

Started selling my old game books on ebay and have four lots of five for sale.
They are the first twenty Fighting Fantasy books by Steve Jackson and Ian Livindstone.

Yes Mike. Fighting Fantasy ran to about 56 books (maybe even 59, I think). Book 60 was republished recently (I reviewed it on TOTS or FOD). They're being republished but in the wrong order with the wrong numbers (based on popularity but it makes it hard to reference them).

Fighting Fantasy was the most well known gamebook series and yet it was a bundle of unrelated adventures that often shared the same setting.

Lone Wolf was the best gamebook series that I think a few people avoided because the rules looked a tad more complex. However, it was a continuous series of adventures featuring the same setting, the same character and lots of continuity stuff with carrying items over between the books.

And Wristy you swine, you know I don't have an ebay account (but then, having just forked out £300 for the Lone Wolf reprints, I can hardly afford to spend much money at the moment either).

I have Steve Jackson's Sorcery series all four book's plus the spell book as well and both copys of the first book with slightly different covers.

John Butterfield, David Honigmann and Philip Parker's Cretan Chronicles book's all three and the are set in old greek time's with minators and stuff.

Mark Smith & Jamie Thomson's Duel Master book's set 1 and 2 (two books in each set, one for each player) which you can play against another person with.

Mark Smith & Jamie Thomson's Falcon book's 1-4 in which you travel through time and space i think.

Tunnels and Trolls "rule book"  and three game book's.

Dave Morris Dragon Warriors role playing game books 1-4 and 6, don't have 5.

Gary Gygax and Flint Dille Sagard the Barbarian gamebooks 1-3 i don't have number 4.

Golden dragon Fantasy Gamebooks 1-6.

Maelstorm RPG book.

What is Dungeons and Dragons*?.

Knightmare "the Labyrinths of fear".

Real life gamebooks "The Last Invasion 1066".

Robin of Sherwood Gamebook 2.

Harry Harrison "You can be the Stainless Steel Rat".

The Virgin Adventure Game Books "Chicago Gansters" two copys of it and also "Escape from Colditz" gamebook.

Marvel Super heroes "The Amazine Spider-man" and "Captain America" gamebooks.

And i have Lonewolf gamebooks as well and one of the norvels signed by the man himself, well it's a sticker with his name signed on it and stuck in the book.
That pissed me off some as it was supposed to be the book signed not a sticker and stuck in the book.  :icon_evil:

Tunnels and Trolls "rule book"  and three game book's.

Could you specify which three? I've probably got about half the Tunnels & Trolls gamebooks lying about (rulebook too). I did loose one to an unscrupulous scoundrel 'though and you might have it.

Golden dragon Fantasy Gamebooks 1-6.

Now those are rare (bit of a mixed bunch as far as quality goes).

The big A4/A3 one or the tiny little pocket version some people have (I've got the big one but I'm interested to know which you got).

Captif D'yvoire and Beyond the Silvered Pane

I don't have "City of Terrors".
I will be wanting to sell them all together and at a low price too, i never played these as they were RPG's so they just have that aged yellow at the edge of the pages that old book like them get.

Yeah, those are the ones I have. I used to have The Gamesmen of Kazaar/Mistywood but the sod stole that (but I got his copy of deathtrap equaliser/captif d'yvoir so it's sort of even).

It's Allansia that I've not been able to lay my hands on.  I think I've got three or four copies of Out of the Pit, a couple of copies of Port Blacksand and three copies of the Advanced Fighing Fantasy RPG book.  I've even got a couple of the basic FF RPG book (not the game books, the rule book), with the deamon (or was it an orc?) and the dice on the front.

If anyone knows where I can get a copy of Allansia, I'd be happy to know :)  It seems harder to find than The Book of the Astronomican!

Nobody can. Rumour has it that it exists but I'm almost skeptical :(.

My brother got the first few FF books but didn't like them and i got a bit hooked after trying them.
Seemed age's between each book back them.  :icon_razz:
