I remember that Klute had some miniature pictures removed because they were nude or part nude on photobucket and he was paying for his account too.

Classic is ok but not toy metal figures...  :icon_scratch:

I don't think it spot checks so much as it more likely someone reported it, but why?.

Yeah.  It does seem odd I was reported.  Its not even full frontal nudity(ok ok...its damned close but still)

Ive got a login at Cheddermongers site now...so ill have it up in a bit again.

Perv

the saddest thing is 1 persons complaint outweighs the thousands that want to see it....glad you're posting it elsewhere :-)

I got me a basic animation program and thought I'd do simple animations of my minis rotating so that they're easily visible from all angles. Can such small animations be kept on the Cheddarmonger gallery? Didn't really know where to put the question so I put it here.

The gallery supports lots of file types; what kind of file does your animation make??  I'll check to make sure the gallery is configured for it.  I'd love to test it!  sounds like a great idea, instead of doing collages, to make a gif or avi that rotates the mini!
Nevermind me, I have a cruddy banner, so please click HERE for Cheddarmongers!

It makes Jpeg files. There are quite a few other conversion options but I've been told Jpeg is the most basic and common type. I'm still learning the ropes of it but it's fairly simple.

The idea is not new. I've seen some people do it and I think reaper started doing it for some of their painted figures. Also I think privateer press presents their figures this way.

Interesting.  I didn't know jpeg supports animation.  Go ahead and give it a try!  Let me know if it works!!

So... It's probably wrong then...  :icon_redface:. I'll check it up. Computerterminology allways has me befuddled and I tend to mix up different file types and all.
Very much an amateur in the world of computers me.

gif does (said Mr "I break my PC every 6 months") but I don't think jpg does  :icon_scratch:
The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

Bodhi

Yeah you're right. I save the single PICTURES as Jpeg files but the final rendered animation is gif  :icon_redface:. That's what caused my confusion....

Could that be right...?  :icon_scratch:

My current avatar was home made by me, and that's gif.

But I'm looking for a (free) gif animator since the trial version ran out a few weeks ago. :icon_sad:

Nice work on the avatar. Are you good with making banners Brian?
