Harem girl "in the eggshell"

Hi all :) I was invited here by Mike, who wanted me to show this mini to you.
so this is my first post, but you don't have to be especially nice to me ;)

OK, you can make fun of me, as I approached painting this mini for over a year.

During the last holidays I even took her to a painting convention searching for helful painters who could suggest me any ideas for finishing her.
My own idea was impossible for me to finish, so in January I paused the works, as I knew I wouldn't succeed at my idea of shadowy early evening atmosphere. I received a few sweet suggestions, even a funny idea of a scene with a knight climbing a rope to get into the eggshell. But I was unable to turny any of them into a full image, so fearing another failure I didn't return to painting this one again.  :shrug:

But later, after Mahon showed me how to paint skin with glazes, I knew that was what was missing and when I had a free moment I got down to this project again. The idea of a dark eggsgell came from Illusionrip, and I initially fought hard not to follow this suggestion and do it my way, and paint it as a realistic eggshell. But when I started shading the eggshell, I realized Illusionrip was right, so thank you for the encouraging kick!

I know that I was unable to save many parts of this model after my first attempts, but I will be happy to listen to your opinions. Maybe they add something new, because the author is never fully objective :D

I have to agree that this is a simply stunning peice of work.  Wow-the skin tones are amazing and the idea itself is unique enough to keep this mini in mind.
