The white look's a bit bright and all the same, might the picture be a bit too bright for it.  :icon_scratch:

thanks guys, brass was brazen brasss abd dwarf dronze with some shining gold highlights and a wash of chestnut ink with a drop of black.

Wristy - yup, I hate painting white and it shows, especially on something this small

How do you do whites then?

when I used to ink wash all the time I used a transparent light warm grey ink...

now I tend to use creams and highlight with white mixed in.

But using your glazing method I would think creams would work.

I think I'll just use my usual method of not painting it again...

I started with a khaki shade that was too dark...should've used bleached bone and glazed and then highlighted as normal.
