I suppose this kinda counts as art work. A little experiment I started, using some Super Sculpy I had lying around and some glow in the dark FIMO (the eyes). It's a cute little troll. Apologies for the rubbishy pics:

I'm quite proud of him. He's a little singed around the shoulders and the nose, the lowest setting on my oven isn't low enough it seems. Hope you like him.

Ugly little bugger there, Caerban, but I guess that was the intent :D

A few simple splashes of acrylic here and there and he's picked up a little more character:

Plenty of character in the face. I like him.

I finished off the little troll today as a present for Mother's Day. A wig of tapestry yarn in a couple of shades of brown to give it a bit of life, made some arms and legs and wired them on then just wrapped a bit of old lining material around him for clothing and here he is:

Unfortunately some of the shape to his limbs was lost when I baked him. I didn't support them well enough, and they flattened out and ended up a bit paddle-like and lifeless but it's my first time on this and it's all part of the learning curve. Here's a close up of his head:

All in all I think he's not too shabby for a first stab in this area. Next time I'll have a bit more fun with things and dig through my Froud books for inspiration.
