some more info on size.

I loved the old B5 fleet action scale which was maybe 2.5- 3 inches for long ships like the warlock(a bb) but it depends on wether you want to use hexs in which case fleet action  size or on a table in which case max size should be around 4-5 inches for big guys. And as previously mentioned the number of ships in a game is a Big  factor(pun intended)
Lastly what material are you using the usual tin or resin. as cost of material can be a factor as well
My opinion would be smaller so people can buy bunches and not go broke

Some more info for you.

I wouldn't suggest any ships larger than 4".  Beyond that they get awfully unwieldy, expensive, and possibly prone to breakage, depending on ship design.

4" for battleships
3" for battlecruisers
2" for cruisers
1" for destroyers
smaller for fighters/gunboats, just depending on how big you want them relative to "real" ships.

I'd say about the same as others. To me when somebody says this is a dreadnought etc, I want something that to me feels like a dreadnought. I'd like it to be larger, imposing and scare the bejeesus out my opponent so probably about 4".

Of course it also depends on how much detail you want to put on the ships.

The Minmarta fighter would work really well in 28mm & the other fighter as well, but I really like the first one

The second one looks especially Grymn-ish to me :)

I'm sure he'll answer for himself, but I don't think that Custom_Hobby has had much time to think about spaceship models, of late.
