Looks pretty neat, AM

Is it just bits of plasticard and plastic tube?
:hal:

Agentmolar

Yep, easy, but fiddly. It also tends to need to be very neatly and symmetrically placed to look good. Im happy with this stuff ,but its a little rough and ready when you look closely at it.

Not going to matter much, but you know some purists will give me hell about it.....

(paging bungle.. where are you? )  :icon_wink:

You think I am going to complain?

4.5cm tall?  8'4" at 1/56...... tall enough to run some pipes along the ceiling too.

The boxes need to be neat but the cables ..well have you ever seen builders at work! bodge it and see. :icon_wink:

I would suggest some plain panels.

and some with doors

PS those press studs make great wheels for pipework taps.  :icon_wink:

Agentmolar

Ive got a whole pack of press studs waiting for the right pipe or door to adorn!

Ive spent the evening tidying the edges and trying to straighten them all.. im a lot happier with them now.

Ill take some pics later.

Sagunt

This sort of thing needs to be mass-produced in an affordable medium. Wild Walls produced vacuum formed detailing to be fastened over the structural core. It was less expensive than resin and lent itself to more uses because it didn't have the weight if it was meant to be part of spaceship exterior.

Cast it. Sell it. Then start on alien geigeresque panels. Sci industrial. Maybe even something really creative and innovative like Gothic arches with lots of rivets and skulls scattered about.
