The Paint Dukino Competition being run as part of the 2007 Newbold Challenge and featuring Little Miss Ponytails & Smokey closed on Sunday 7 October. There are five absolutely superb entries and you can see them all at :-

And if you'd like a bit of harmless fun go on over to our web site and identify all six artists who have painted LMP & S and attribute them to their own paintjob. And also decide which of the entries will finish first, second and third in your opinion.

Make a list of the six artists and post it in this thread below. Then make a list of which entries you think will finish first, second & third and post it in this thread too. Please post your lists by close of play on Friday 19 October.

If you get all six artists correct we'll write your name on a bit of paper and put it into one of Doreen's hats. If you get the entries that finish first, second and third correct we'll write your name on another bit of paper and put it into the same hat. Doreen will draw one name out of the hat and we'll donate £10 to Children in Need on behalf of that person. And we'll come back and tell you who won the competition and who won the bit of harmless fun!

I forgot to mention it up front but Cindy who sculpted the figures is also creating a set of illustrations to go with the fairy story we have written about them. If any of you are interested in looking at illustrations in their own right you'll find Cindy's super artwork at :-

Gosh, this is tough... they all look like Marike Reimer painted them!

At a guess there's one which is hers, one is Natalya Melnik's... the others I have no idea. Is one of them by Angela Imrie?
The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

Medved

i can see one by cindy aswell.  i'm guessing that zordana painted one aswell, so the final painter would maybe be Jubilee?

Some of your guesses are wrong I'm afraid. It is a great pity though because those not there that you metioned would have been worthy entrants and given those that are there a very good run for their money!    :)
