Anyway gnolls are fun (and rangers changed a lot in 3.5, light armour prof only but a lot more free feats and stuff).

It was either a Gnoll or a paladin.

www.d20srd.org - rangers have a lot more to play with in 3.5
The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

It means N'nyarok would have an animal companion... I don't see an emprisoned Gnoll having a pet and not eating it :icon_w00t: Maybe I'll wait to be outside before taking one...
