When I realized N'nyarok had a 20 strength, I almost (almost...) considered playing a barbarian Gnoll. But ranger sounds fouler and tricky :icon_twisted:

As for the saves, it fits quite well with the "brute" aspect of the character... :icon_w00t:

He's saying surely a 4th level ranger has better than +1 saves

He should have fort +4, ref +4, wil +1 as base saves, which means you got them slightly wrong

I thought rangers got a good reflex save too in 3.5 (they didn't in base 3rd but then they were a bit broken anyway).

Sorry I have a tendency to be circumspect in rl which carries over online... the saves are wrong, yes, but not drastically so. Hehe, I know I'd be casting charm spells at this guy with that Will save and that Strength. :dragon:

Did you ever understand the end? I never was sure if Number 6 or the silent dwarf was actualy Number 1 (although it may just have been the dwarf going back to work, that last episode with the machine guns was a bit surreal (although not as much as the one where he escaped, opened the door and stepped back into the village :)).

LOL especially since McGoohan was quite staunch about his character being a thinker rather than a thug... several theories are that the ending is deliberately surreal to a) make fun of people taking the show too seriously or b) make a point about life being a cosmic joke so why not enjoy yourself rather than be trapped by society? or c) the script was pants

I often thought A (and occassionaly C). I think, 'though, didn't they bring up the "his face with the bars slamming shut in front of it" right at the end after he'd gone free and the butler had gone into Number 1's office? That could be sort of taken to mean that freedom is a kind of imprisonment since you are trapped into taking responsibility for your own actions (having no-one else to blame). That could fit in with the conformity thing too.

So which is the most confusing to watch? The Prisoner or Lost?
