A few days ago I purchased this model from my local GW:

http://uk.games-workshop.com/orcsandgoblins/miniature-gallery/29/

which I must say is one of the nicest models I have ever layed eyes on (I am a sucker for squigs :P).

I am almost done making it (Gobbla was in four pieces, all of which left about a 5mm gap between each other, which took a while to fill.

(sorry, pic tomorrow after we find our camera)

The problem will come with the painting the dang model, so I was wondering if anyone owned one, or knows how to paint Gobbla using GW paints?

I've got the original gobbla somewhere (he's been primed and ready to paint for 3 years or so)..used to have a big group of Squigs too, but I think I swapped them for something...

here he is:

Are you looking to do the GW colour scheme?

Red gore up to Blood red then use 50/50 blood red/blazing orange for the extreme highlights and glaze with blood red for the skin, perhaps a light wash of brown/black ink?

The tongue and gums look like tentacle pink washed with red ink..?

Wow, if they'd used snakebite leather instead of bubonic brown that would be the way I paint bones at the moment :).
